“Great way to learn about the city”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

Easy blend of history, exercise and good food. Even in the cold winter temps, I spent a lovely afternoon with friends on the Taste Frederick tour. Even though we have lived here a decade, (or more) we all learned a few new facts. Tour was a great pace, with plenty of time to chat and catch up with friends and meet some new ones. Can't wait for the new listing of additional tours!

“wonderful time”
Reviewed December 27, 2013 via mobile

My son arranged this tour as a Christmas present for his two grandmothers and me, his mother. It was a fun way to spend quality time together as a family. We learned the local history about the area while enjoying delicious food and drinks from several restaurants. I highly recommend the tour. Sarah provided dietary accomodations and adjusted the walking pace to meet the needs of our group.

“Great Time”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

My husband and I went last fall and had a great time. It's casual, friendly, the guide was very informative and the places were stopped were wonderful. We've lived here for 14 years, but still learned a lot of new things.

“Excellent three hours”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

This was a very interesting three hours which included a wide variety of stops including seafood, pizza, sandwiches, beer, wine and soda pop. It ended at a gourmet chocolate shop. Also included was a tour of historic Frederick and the canal walk. The leader was informative and well versed in the lore and delights of Frederick. It was also a small group of 10 which was greatly appreciated having gone on a similar tour last summer with a group of 24. Coupons for 10% were also available for several of the stops to encourage one to return after the tour for shopping (which we did).

“Great way to pass an afternoon”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

We are staying relatively close to Frederick and thought this would be a good introduction to the area. It was a great one. Jackie, our tour guide, was not only warm and welcoming, but supremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I loved walking through the neighborhoods and learning historical and architectural details. There's much more to Frederick than meets the eye at first glance. The food was certainly good along the way, but in my opinion, was not the highlight. I would have been more interested in learning about local food specialties although they did present local wine, beer, chocolates and even soda. The tour was very well organized without a snag. For a carefree way to eat well, have fun and explore, it can't be beat.
