Looking for a place in Frederick, MD, to meet a friend while in town on business; Mimis was the perfect spot offering good food and a lay-out that allowed diners to easily talk without distraction. The menu has all the familiar breakfast foods for any taste or appetite (their low-fat blueberry muffins were delicious), the coffee was good and replenished frequently, and the seating was comfortable.

I have been here 5 times. 3 times for lunch and twice for dinner. I keep hoping that it will get better but it always seems to be lacking. It is close to where I work so have been to lunch with co-workers. It is O.K. with a nice atmosphere but the food is nothing to write home about.

We had both dinner and breakfast here. The meals are proportioned for both large and smaller appetites. My wife always loves the corn chowder. They now have soup-to-go. We got the corn chowder and tomato basil bisque. Umm umm!

We have never eaten there before and it was very good. The atmosphere was nice too. Lots of parking available.

Mimi's is great for lunch, a birthday celebration dinner or a take home family style dinner. Lunch on the patio is nice when the weather is nice and they have a lighter fare menu for those counting calories. The wine flights are great with dinner and the wait staff are glad to share advice about favorites to help you make a decision about what to have. All the soups are fantastic! The bread pudding for dessert will rock your world!!!
