Description: Firestone's Culinary Tavern, opened in 1999, is located in downtown Frederick's picturesque Historic District. It is housed in a 1921 building that was initially the home of Shipley's Department Store. The restaurant combines outstanding cuisine with the casual atmosphere of a neighborhood tavern. The Washington Post says, "the atmosphere is prime...the food is, too!".

Pleasant atmosphere and the food has always been very good. Staff is always attentive and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Have been there often and never disappointed.

It's been a while but certainly a great place to get a first rate meal. Fresh Fish with all the trimmings and great service too.

stoped by from out of town going south. had soup and shared a sandwich and it was over $25 for two. Also, had a lot of grease in steak sandwich and only luke warm soup was served. Not good and wouldn't go back.

I've given up going there to eat as the menu has never thrilled me and it's not all that creative or considerate of food allergies. In fact I have heard the manager complaining amongst staff about how he is sick of people asking about ingredients due to their food allergies. That's so ridiculous. The bar lacks a few key items but the service is fantastic.
