Based on other Trip Advisor reviews we gave Lola's a try for lunch and we were not not disappointed! My family of five stopped in after camping at Calico. It is in a strip mall and easy to miss and deceiving from the mirrored door entrance. The inside was bright, clean and bustling with activity. It is fairly small with seven to eight tables for people to sit. It was busy but not bad when we went, and a good deal of customers seemed to be locals which is a good sign. The ladies working were friendly and helpful. Plenty of Chips and salsa came quickly to our table. Order at the counter and get you own fountain drink, but food came out super fast. Everyone enjoyed their order- carne asada burrito, veggie burrito (not on the menu, but will make a basic burrito with no meat), beef taquitos, carnitas tacos, California burrito- it came up to 47.00$ with five drinks. Clean ladies restroom- single stall. The restaurant decor was three or four different themes that was bordering on a little too much, but not bad. Next time we are in Barstow I would not hesitate to go to Lola's again. I am sure if we lived here this would be our "Mexican" food place! Keep it up Lola's!
