“Reminded my of a Village Inn”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

Not a bad place to stop in and grab a bite to eat. The service was a bit slow but nothing to the point that would make me think of not going back. Being that I am from the Southwest of Texas this establishment reminded me a lot of Village Inn back home. The food was very delicious and the portion sizes were reasonable for the price that we paid. The only thing that was a disappointment was the salad portion size.

“Another chain restaurant”
Reviewed August 13, 2012

The food was as expected from a chain restaurant, the service friendly and better than average. As we were traveling Route 66 generic eating was a bit of a disapointment but there were no complaints.

“Route 66 wake up”
Reviewed July 20, 2012

A throw back to the time of diners everywhere, friendly service, locals talking gossip about retired railwaymen. Breakfast selection was good, and the breakfast sandwich filled the need. Cookies from their bakery were the highlight, great to chew along the road

“Nice people, good food.”
Reviewed July 10, 2012

We stopped at Cocos because The Bun Boy, our old Barstow favorite restaurant has closed. The wife and I both had meals from the Senior menu and the food was good, prices decent, service good and we were very satisfied with the overall experience.

“Just was not fresh”
Reviewed May 1, 2012

We had dinner here. My wifes roast beef dinner was way to salty, veggies over cooked(sitting a while). The lettuce was a day or so old. On a positive note the service was good!
