This is a little off the beaten path but once you are there, sit back and enjoy. We had just checked into the "No tell - Motel" and were concerned our Route 66 trip was off to a bad start. This restaurant is the type of Supper Clubs of bygone days. The food and service were very good.

Nice change of pace from fast food or chains such as Denny's.

The food was lightning quick and I mean lightning quick all our food was delivered under 5 minutes after we had ordered it, the food quality was incredible, and you get alot for what you payed for. I ordered a 14oz New York strip I couldn't fault it, it was simply irresistible. All the food that we ordered was 10/10 it is actually quite cheap for what you get my steak was about 25$ which is amazing value considering you get a first class steak, garlic bread a salad, a side all included.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone

Had a great meal! Really the only place to go in town if you want something more than the mainstream chains!

Lovely food, great ambience, lots on the walls to look at and MASSIVE meals!

IF EVER IN TOWN AGAIN WILL DEFINITELY VISIT!

We had dinner there last evening, a Saturday. There were several other cars and people at restaurant which was a good sign. Most of their food was over priced. They were charging $8 for appetizer onion rings and they were not even hand dipped in premises; they came frozen in a bag. The prime rib was pretty good; I asked for an end cut medium well done. I did get an end cut however it was definitely still only cooked to medium doneness. The garlic mashed potatoes were just barely warm and did not have much garlic flavor at all. The seasonal vegetables that came warm with the meal were horribly immersed with vinegar; I couldn't eat them. I will say the margarita was very good there. And our waitress recommended the 7 layer. chocolate cake heated up just a bit, so we took that to go and it was very good warmed up. We would not go there again however, as it was too expensive for the quality of food you get.

We are always comparing prices, cuts, and portions in order to deliver the best quality steaks, seafood and salad at competitive prices. We appreciate your review and will continue to work hard to get better. Please come back and enjoy another margarita in the lounge.

I was last in the Idle Spurs in 1978, although the site doesn't allow you to enter the correct date. I was here for dinner twice and enjoyed the food very much both visits. I hope to patronize the business again.
