Description: Tiny and cozy restaurant, located inside a peculiar house. Our food is fresh, varied, respectful... with our tradition and the products we carefully select. We don't like labels much. We don't claim to be a gastronomic top restaurant, nor solely a traditional one. We just do what we like and how we like it to be done, with passion and trying always to attend all the small details. We are proud to think that we've created a small food place,, intimate, relaxed, where you can have a good time, a nice meal, even a date... but above all, a place where you feel comfy, like at home, like our special guests...

“Just better than average”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Went here in our second to last night of 5 in Begur. Most of the places we visited were OK, but nothing to write home about. We checked out some reviews on TripAdvisor and tried out this spot. The food is better than average, especially in Begur town, but sadly does not live up to the 'Michelin star' standard that many of the reviews speak about. The service suffers as it's only 2 people (with one also being the chef). My final observation was that most of the clientèle were English, which is not a good sign in a town with mostly Spanish and French tourists.

Go if you can't find anything better, but if you ask around a bit in Begur you will probably be able to.

“Safe Bet!”

We ate here 3 times in a two week stay. Always guaranteed food over which care had been taken, unlike many of the other restaurants in Begur!
The deconstructed cheescake was a nice surprise!

“Excellent value, quality food”
Reviewed August 23, 2013

A truly delicious, top quality meal at a very reasonable price! This is a sweet little restaurant, nicely decorated with atmospheric lighting which made for a pleasant ambience. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, creative and very well-cooked... and with a three course meal for just 23 Euros, offered tremendous value. We were a family of four and each of us sampled a different starter, main and dessert ensuring we had a fairly comprehensive tour of the menu. The tuna tataki starter was exceptionally good, the roast suckling pig with apricots main was melt-in the-mouth succulence, cooked to perfection. The desserts were superb. Of particular note are the coulant 7 with vanilla ice cream and the homemade deconstructed cheesecake. All in all a fabulous dining experience which I would recommend wholeheartedly.

“Best Restaurant in Begur”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

Just returned from 2 weeks in Begur. Went to the Turandot 3 times it was that good. The food was above average, I would even say Michelin standard and at 23 euros a bargain. Over 3 visits had various starters, scallops were tasty and the ravioli was brilliant. Mains, the fish was full of flavour and well cooked and the Iberic secret was just to good for words. The whole meal was finished off with desserts that were a cut above the norm, deconstructed cheesecake, coulan 7 and ice cream, The 2 waiting staff were very attentive, the young lady recognised us on our 2nd and 3rd visits and even gave us a drink on the house at the end of our finale meal. If you want a meal in Begur that is a cut above the rest this is the place to go.
