In the quaint medieval town of Peratallada, with many good restaurants, the inviting outdoor space of L'Arc Vell pulled us in. In a lovely terrace under a big tree near an old well turned into a fountain, we shared a goat cheese salad with apples, raisins and walnuts to start. Then we feasted on Catalonian Paella for two. Served in the big pan, Catalonian paella has a darker, richer tasting sauce than the paella we're used to. With some good bread and wine, it was very good.It was an enjoyable evening.
