Really great sandwiches and baked goods. Very tasty. However, is fairly expensive for what it is, and size of portions. Also, it always seems to be a very long wait. Had to stand around for 20 min. last time, to get one sandwich. It seems that sometimes the kitchen loses track, and doesn't make them in order received

This bakery does everything well. It offers a wide selection of breads as well as pastries.

It's worth it to stop here to get fresh bread, as they make a great variety and the product they have on shelves in area stores in not as fresh. There is a small amount of table seating, but the back balcony area reopens in the summer, so you can sit right by the brook. Excellent gazpacho, individual desserts, and baked strata.

I've always loved this place...sort of. A little tucked away enclave in the middle of suburbia where I could get a good pastry or sandwich, a nice salad, some yummy soup, and a decent cup of coffee, all with a shadow (albeit tiny) of hipster twist. But while it's been a favorite of sorts - given the choices - for many years, the pricing, service, and even quality have recently just begun to lead to a loss-of-appeal. The price/service ratio is particularly poor these days and it's really hard to justify spending that much for that little. Yes, I will go to NBB again - because the choices are few here - but with less frequency, and less pleasure.

I live in town and buy Nashoba Brook's bread every week. The bakery has a great view of the river and even though it's out of the way always seems to be busy. There are picnic table outside if the weather is nice. If you go often ask for a bread card and after every 10 loaves you get one free!
