“North Bridge be sure to go to the visitors center”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 29, 2011

It was moving! It really gave us a sense of where our nations history was set in motion. The Bridge is not surrounded by developments and the way it's setting has been preserved gives you a sense that you really could be walking back in time...well, except for the monuments on either side...A big thanks to those with the fortitude to preserve it this way! Not so well marked is the visitors center so be sure to walk up the long pathway to the grand house on the bluff to the right of the bridge, that is the visitors center and there is a wonderful video about a special cannon that is housed in the building...that video is a MUST SEE! More history facts that are quite intriguing!

The re-built bridge where the local militia took up a defensive position against the oncoming British Army.

“Excellent park rangers”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 5, 2011

This was our first stop on visit the Minute Man Historical Park. The walk from the nearby visitor's center was pleasant and the ranger's posted on the bridge and the adjacent grave site were excellent. We heard the last portion of a talk he gave to a group of school kids and asked him several questions afterward. It was early in the day and he was eager to talk about the skirmish. (That may not be the case at the end of his shift after giving the same talk a few dozen times :-) )
