We stayed here for two weeks in July and loved it so much we came back again later in our trip, in august. Beautiful and impeccable rooms overlooking the village from an old wooden glassed in terrace, extraordinary breakfasts (the best eggs, bacon, honey, cheese, fruit, pancakes, fresh juice....). But above all the hosts, Rosario and Alfredo, and the lovely collection of long-term staff they have established here, are wonderful, warm and exceptional people who make the hotel a real home for its guests.

A really lovely place to base yourself for a couple of days round Asturias. Very helpful owners and staff - great recommendations for restaurants, things to do in the area. Compact, spotless bedrooms with free wifi and well equipped bathrooms. Would definitely return.

The building is beautiful, our room was full of character, with not one but two balconies... it was super clean also. The restaurant was cosy, warm, welcoming and fit for feasting. The hosts were great and very helpful. Cudillero is also a perfect setting and not too far from the playa de catedrales which is a must visit for anyone.

Cudillero is a miniature San Francisco - steep hillsides, winding sidewalks, and a mix of bright and pastel colors - all by the sea. Many good beaches nearby and a lively cafe and restaurant scene in the nearby town square.

The rooms are dark, clean, and quiet - ours had a balcony. The bathtub is outfitted with jacuzzi. Excellent breakfast - regret that the restaurant is now closed for dinner.

You can park at the harbor - about two blocks away.

This little hotel was a little tricky to find but once that was overcome we discovered a very pleasant hotel. The room was very clean and not too noisy considering where it was - right in the centre - make sure you're not booking for dates when the village festival is on as we were told that the noise lasts all night.
The hotel came highly recommended in one of our guidebooks as did its' restaurant but unfortunately it was not yet open for the season. They recommended the restaurant next door - to the left as you look as you look at the hotel - and it was good and very reasonable. The young waiter enjoyed serving cider in the traditional manner.
We chose to leave on our last day without having breakfast as at an additional 8.50 euros each we thought it a bit steep for a carbohydrate overload.
(Below I've ticked no to free parking - there is free parking but it is not the hotel's. You can unload at the hotel and then park near the harbour which is free)

This is a lovely little hotel set in an interesting building (it used to be a fish salting factory). The rooms are very clean. Our had a (very small) jacuzzi bathtub. It can be hard to find when you first arrive - the centre is all tiny alleyways.
the location is great, right in the middle of it all (it's such a tiny village!!! it takes a couple of hours to see it all!)
Breakfast was awesome, with lots of local home-made cakes (charged separately at €7 pp) there is a lovely bar almost opposite that does lots of bocadillos for very little money.
If I have to be super picky, the girl at reception when we left seemed unable to add up the price for our two nights and two breakfasts and tried to over-charge us. I want to believe it was a genuine mistake though make sure you have everything added up in your head before you check out!
Apart from that, reception staff was really helpful and recommended us a really lovely (long) walk which we enjoyed very much:
That took us to El Pito (about 2 km from Cudillero) where we found the Selgas Palace Estate (The palace is surrounded by luxorious gardens in style of Versailles but sadly is not open to the public) and a wonderful looking church. We then proceeded via Aronces (where we saw a lot of typical Asturian 4 pillar/suspended structures used to store grain) to the Playa de Aguilar (where we had lunch by the sea) before starting off on a proper 4.5k coastal walk from here which took us (past gorgeous viewpoints, more beaches and solitary little churches) to the nearby town of San Esteban de Pravia (also a fishing port). Recommened :)

Struggling up a long flight of steep steps with heavy cases in pouring rain isn't the best introduction, but once inside, this is a delightful little hotel, with spotlessly clean rooms, very comfy beds and a warm welcome [with umbrellas to borrow!]. Although, annoyingly, the building immediately in front blocks the sea view, it's so close that this hardly matters. Our room had an excellent little balcony, which was very useful for sitting out of the rain and drying wet clothes! Friendly service [with English spoken] and reputedly an excellent breakfast, though we didn't try this. Worth more than the 2 stars it currently enjoys.
