Well worth a visit to learn more about the history of the area. There is a downloadable audio guide as well as informative signage in Spanish and English.

This ancient castle has a story all of its own but even if you're not a history buff the descriptions are very clear and the views are amazing and you must go!

Worth the climb up through the historic centre.
€4 admission, clean, easy, but just a castle, there are toilets, but no restaurant or shop etc, although there are nearby.
Great views and a nice thing to do, probably spent around 45 minutes at the castle itself.

But check opening times. It is a long climb to the top and the castle is closed between 1 and 4, or something like that. Great views spoilt by the intense farming which involved miles of plastic covers or similar.

Went there with kids, beautiful place but was closed twice. Normally is supposed to open from 10-1:30pm and from 4pm - 8pm but was closed when we went there at 11am on a Tuesday.
