“Gorgeous !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

What a wonderful place! Very nice decoration, friendly atmosphere and nice lobby.

We stayed there two days in one of the executive suite! From the moment we entered til the end it was perfect!

The staff members were great, helpful and friendly. We had a gorgeous suite on the 21st floors with two great bathrooms, one large living room and a very nice bedroom. Everything was clean.

The pool area is very nice, it was very quite and pleasant to spend a few hours per day there.

The location of the hotel is nice. If you like the atmosphere of Buckhead and shopping it is perfect. You can walk everywhere from the hotel.

The only small little negative point ? They provide a hotel car to take you somewhere but they don't drive you to the city (midtown for us). I don't think the city centre is that far (3-5miles) and if it isn't rush hours it doesn't take that long. We had to go to midtown one night and we had to use our car (no wine for the driver :( ).

Otherwise only great moment spent there.

Room Tip: High floors and facing Buckhead (centre) to enjoy the skyscrapers around us

The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead was pretty much what was expected from hotels on this "level". I am more of a contemporary individual and usually stay at more "morden" hotels, not saying anything negative of the Ritz.. The hotel was very clean until I came across hair in the bathroom (pet peeve) inside the q-tip bin at that (yuck)! Staff was spot on and I was treated awesomely just need to get the hair issue under control :)

Room Tip: Do not get a room that is either connecting or neat the elevator

Well appointed and warm bar and dining facilities along with a great pool setting with sitting outside during the evening for a city view. Highly suggest location across from great shopping and services. Food was exceptional and had a healthy slant without it seeming contrived. Rooms are fresh and inviting.

hotel was wonderful as usual, the newly renovated gym is terrific, service that you expect from the ritz, and for corporate travelers the rate on this hotel is crazy cheap. in a great section of buickhead within walking distance of many hotels and two great shopping malls. highly recommended.

If I could, I'd give this property 3.5 stars, because I feel 3 is a little harsh, while 4 is generous. My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. The hotel must have been packed (we know that the Arthritis Foundation held its annual fundraiser there on Saturday), because the staff was flustered and pretty unattentive for Ritz standards. We had to wait 5-10 mins to check-in (and out for that matter), and usually we receive an upgraded room because we are Ritz credit card holders, but there were none available. The basic room is small - smaller than other properties we've stayed in, but it was very clean and in good condition (fabrics not worn, furniture not banged up). The quality is exactly what you'd expect in a room at a Ritz property -- an actual thermostat, amazing bed, big TV, Frette robes, and the SLIPPERS! Beware of the "honor bar" - everything is on a sensor, and if you so much as pick up an item to look at it, you'll be charged. We used the house car both evenings to go to dinner -- it runs within a 2 mi radius of the hotel, which will get you to most of the great restaurants in Buckhead. You really cannot beat the location unless you loathe crazy traffic.

Now for our issues -- our tub was clogged, and you couldn't shower without having water come up past your ankles. We requested this be fixed twice, and still no draining tub. After our first housekeeping service, the bathmats disappeared, and even though we requested new ones, we never got any. We could hear rap music blaring from another guest's room down the hall -- not really my scene since college. Valet parking is outrageous, and you don't really realize that self-parking is available until the valet has already driven off with your car. And finally, we went to the lounge to listen to the jazz and have a nightcap, and sat for 15 minutes without someone coming over to greet us - so we ultimately got up and left.

I am a huge Ritz fan, but the service at this location is really not up to par with the other Ritz hotels we've stayed in during this year alone. Upon checking out, the front desk didn't even ask us how our stay was. This staff really needs to take a lesson from the crew in Dallas.

I enjoyed my stay at the Ritz, my room was comfortable, however the hotel does seem a bit dated. Food was great and the portions were very large, across the road is mall and there are other places to eat around the hotel. Check in staff and concierge were very helpful and friendly. There is a complimentary shuttle available to take guest to nearby shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for one night recently. As at all Ritz Carltons the service was excellent and the hotel was very comfortable. IMHO the decor looks a little bit dated and the designers of Ritz hotels seem to be trying to appeal to your grandmother (or the Versaille style of Marie Antoinette) with grandiose crystal chaneliers, etc. Only real complaint is that the bathroom was very small for what I would expect from a five star hotel.
