We left, we didn't even spend the night, just left. The rooms have a tad bit older, worn furniture.. yes, that is the word, worn. Nicks in tables, dents in sofas. Beds are hard & springy. They say you get free wireless, uh NO. Only if you go downstairs to this round table they have set up. It was nuts! If you want wireless in the room they charge you. You can stay at a Comfort inn or La Quinta and get better amenities. They charge you like its heaven, but there are SOOOOO many marriots versions & hyatts, and such in the area for less. Don't waist your money. They are getting run down. OH, the TV didn't work either, can't get movies in the room, it locks up. And the toilet would run & run & run, had to keep jiggling the handle. They need to update - definitely. Then parking, the lot they provide has "flood zone" signs all over. Guess if it rains you are stuck. Thanks!

Stayed at the hotel over new years (2009) with finance, and it was ok. The rooms are large but, the doors slam shut. there is almost no space to put your clothing, the rooms are suites yet have only one chair and no table if you would like to have a meal. The majority of the staff was great but the main lady that takes orders in the restaurant makes you feel as you if you are bothering her by ordering food. I emailed the Sheraton about the concerns and was not very satisfied with the reply. i have stayed at a similarly priced hotel in the area and experienced just the opposite (great service, plenty of drawer space, table in the room with two chairs, and doors that closed without waking up the entire floor). I will say that the fitness area was nice and that the majority of the staff were helpful.

Visited Atlanta with my 14 year old son for 4 nights and 5 days to explore Atlanta, Georgia. The Sheraton Suites Galleria was perfect for us in every way. The suite was large, clean and very comfortable. Two large flat screen televisions allowed each of us to watch different programming in the evening. Having a kitchenette in the room was perfect for fixing a quick breakfast and for evening snacks.
The hotel staff was helpful and friendly. They greeted us with a warm smile each time we approached the front desk. They also offered pre-printed driving instructions to all area attractions. The hotel is conveniently located near a major expressway and minutes from downtown Atlanta. The neighborhood appeared very safe. The hotel is directly adjacent to a very nice shopping mall equipped with fun trendy restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory and PF Changs to name a couple. A mega AMC movie complex is just down the street as well. The hotel offers free parking which is an added bonus and a rare find for this type of quality hotel. I have absolutely no complaints and would love to stay there again on our next trip to Atlanta.

I stayed three nights at the Sheraton Suites Atlanta Galleria for work, as my firm's HQ is nearby. My first experience with it, as it is for many people, is driving up to the hotel from Cobb Parkway. The entrance to the hotel is a little awkward if you are coming from the south, you have to drive into the mall and then drive into the parking lot and down a few flights of the lot to the ground floor. If you are coming southbound from northern exits of I-285 or I-75 then it is considerably easier. The hotel is quite easy to find, it is one of the tallest buildings in the area and at night has a big red sign on the top floor.

I thought that the check in was simple and hassle free. The front desk at the time was manned by a very cosmopolitan young man that had graduated (after I asked him a few questions) from hotel school in Switzerland, and I would say in general that the service standard at the hotel is substantially higher than that of surrounding area hotels, who take a far more approximate approach to customer service.

The whole experience of staying in a high-rise hotel made the stay feel more urban, which was very reassuring to a city dweller like myself. My room was large and attractive, separated by doors into the living room, bedroom and bathroom areas. The new bath products being used by Sheraton are very nice. The room was spotless and very comfortable.

I will have to agree that the extras like the Internet and the breakfast are a little bit on the high side, but I think that's baked into the price. The price of the hotel itself was lower than other 4 star hotels in the area, and I do think the overall experience was better for me. The cons of the location are the high-rise car park and the awkward turn for northbound traffic from Cobb, but the pros are the very nice room, the great service, and the proximity to the Cumberland Mall which was handy for me to do some Christmas shopping for my daughter.

My first experience at this hotel was in the 90s when it first opened. My parents stayed here when they came to visit me at college. We even got stranded here during the Atlanta Blizzard of 1993. So I have fond memories at this hotel. My weekend here was well spent. The room is nicely decorated and the bed is heavenly. The granite countertop, separate bath and flat screen TVs are nice touches. My only complaints - they charge $10 every 24 hours for the wireless internet and the doors and the WC (bathroom) - wallpaper, tub, tiles - harkens to their installation when the hotel was first built. They have changed the shower rod to the rounded one which gives much more room in shower. However, little else has changed. They should definitely update the bath and eliminate the internet fee to make this a great hotel. The hotel is located in a great area, with Cumberland Mall right next door, The Galleria across the street and several strip malls within 2 miles. And it's right at I-285 so you can get anywhere pretty quickly, especially downtown. Pleased overall.

Stayed for 4 nights in September. Nice rooms, clean, friendly staff.. very positive experience there. My complaint is paying $10 per day for slow wireless Internet is exorbitant in this day and age. Make sure to add this into your room rate comparison. The hot (and mediocre) breakfast buffet is $18, cold is I believe $13. So there are many alternative hotels with free internet and free breakfast, so be sure sure to factor in the incremental $28 per night if you want breakfast and internet access,

I stayed at the Sheraton Suites over the weekend. First, the room was clean and in good shape, and the two LCD TV sets were nice. Although the room was not huge, there is a door to separate the living area from the bedroom. The hotel's location is not far from Downtown (10-15 minutes). Also, the hotel is pet friendly ( a $25 charge per stay).

On the downside, the Pool is fairly small, and when we went down there the Pool area needed to be cleaned with dirty towels thrown all over the place. Second, the Breakfast buffet is expensive ($17.00), and only OK. The food had clearly been out on the buffet for a while, although they will cook items to order for you. Finally, my bill was wrong, and I was charged the Pet fee twice. The front desk did correct the bill.
