My Boyfriend I traveled to Atlanta for a family celebration. Our recent trip to Atlanta was very pleasant not only because of the graduation we celebrated but because of the warm customer service received upon arrival. We walked into the hotel and was greeted with the warmest Hello, and "Welcome to the Sheraton." The bellman assigned to us that day Jerome Smith was somehow available to us during our entire trip. The concierge service was helpful, friendly, fun, and accurate. It was a busy weekend for the hotel as it was the Memorial day weekend and there many celebrations taking place all over the city. Nonetheless we felt comfortable and happy with the level of service we received upon arrival, during our stay, and our departure. We were happy to have an opportunity to say thank you and Goodbye to our Bellman Jerome Smith, he really took care us. We are planning a return trip to Atlanta, in October and we plan to stay at the Sheraton, and we are just hoping Jerome Smith, and all the crew we met last week will be around.

Room Tip: Rooms are average, clean, I guess you would have to ask for a room with a view.

This was the 1st of 4 hotels that we stayed in on our 2012 road trip around georgia - north & south Carolina. Because it was late when we arrived and because we were very tired after travelling for almost 20 hours we used the valet parking as it was conveinent, it cost $29 per night. We noticed in the morning that there was a self park option for $22 and the car park seemed to be part of the same building. There was a public multi storey car park on the next block.
Check in was quite easy though we had to produce our printed confirmation that we had club room access. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.
All the staff we came across were very polite and helpful. There's a deli and restaurant that's open till quite late, we only used the deli on the first night.
The hotel is about 20 minute walk to the coca cola museum and the aquarium. We walked it going but caught a cab coming back as it was baking hot and mostly uphill, the cab cost us $12 which we thought was a bit steep considering the distance.
All in all a fairly good stay

There where plenty of times that I would see the housekeeper in the hall doing her job getting other rooms cleaned for other guests that would be staying however often times I would interrupt her to ask a question or need a service and she was ALWAYS helpful and very knowledgeable. Her pleasantness made my stay the best ever and she did a great job at her job also.

Room Tip: 7th floor housekeeper will make your stay one to remember, book your stay before 1st of year though...

We arrived for a conference for 5 nights. We're greeted by genuinely cheerful staff. When we said that we were not happy with our room, [mainly as my wife would not be accompanying me to the conference so she would be there without me], we were moved the following day to a lovely top floor room, with windows on 2 sides, making it light and airy. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant, where we had a lovely cocktail followed by an excellent meal. All waiting staff were really friendly, helpful and cheerful. Jim, the concierge was really very helpful advising with his advice on booking restaurants. Everyone said hello, when you passed them by. Pool was a pleasant surprise, surrounded by plants, trees and shrubs. Jerome, Paul, Tamika, Jim were the very few we remembered. A big thank you to you all, your staff are a credit to your hotel and this should be acknowledged

Room Tip: North wing rooms seemed better, corner room airy and sunny.

We have just come back from a 3 night stay in the Sheraton in Atlanta and I can't rate it highly enough. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. The rooms were clean and comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Atlanta downtown.

Room Tip: Some rooms overlook the indoor swimming pool should you require this.

I was impressed with the hotel and the staff. A staff member named Aaron really took care of our needs and was extremely helpful. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast had about anything you could ask for.

We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and planned to go to Six Flags, a Braves game, and the Georgia Aquarium.

When we arrived, we received a free upgrade to a king size bed (booked a queen) and complimentary self parking (usually $22 a day - ouch!) . The room and bathroom were small but very clean and plush. We were disappointed that there was no free internet in the guestrooms but there is an internet cafe on the 3rd floor where we could use the internet for free. The pool area is very nice but often crowded and there are not enough chairs. We were also disappointed that the pool closed at 10 pm, which was strictly enforced even though a ton of people were still in/by the pool. Fitness area was also nicer than average for a hotel fitness center. Plenty of new cardio equipment.

We were able to walk to the Georgia Aquarium (but did not go in because it was EXTREMELY crowded) and could have walked to the Braves game (1.5 mi) but opted to take a cab instead, which was $12-$14 each way. Cabs always seem to be waiting in front of the hotel. The trip to Six Flags was also an easy one and took less than 20 minutes.

We did not eat at the hotel at all. We had drinks in the bar area which was nice but overpriced (no worse than any other hotel bar).

Overall, we really enjoyed the Sheraton and wouldn't hesitate to go back again!
