You cannot beat a better stay at a four or five diamond hotel. Omni CNN Center is affordable and gives you more for your money. They provide excellent service, quality and comfortable beds and wonderful dining. If you need to relax and unwind, the spa and fitness center are right on point. Equipment is great and the staff knows how to pamper and treat your every need. Great location to walk to sports, fun and entertainment! If you come to Atlanta, you must stay at Omni, CNN Center!

The Omni Hotel may not be the glitziest venue in Atlanta, however you won’t find a better place to be close to it all. Located next to the convention center and the Olympic Park you are at the doorstep of some of best things to see in the city – Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, SkyView Atlanta and of course the CNN Center, which shares the same building. You won’t need to go far to be entertained.

The hotel itself is huge – it has north and south towers each with several floors. The rooms themselves are decorated in “classic-style” dark wood furniture and are incredibly spacious. Our room was in the South Tower and had large almost wall-to-ceiling windows. The bathroom was nice, but oddly shaped. The walls seem thin as you can hear the activity in the hallway, the neighbor’s TV and car traffic if you are on the lower floors. Overall, the rooms are fairly comfortable and nice, but nothing to write home about.

There are several different places for food as there is a bar on the main floor where check-in is, a full service restaurant called Prime Meridian, and a coffee shop, Morsels, on the bottom floor of the North tower. There is a food court in the attached CNN center that has over 15 places to choose from to eat, including a Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and Dunkin Donuts to name a few.

My husband and I were here for a little over a week for a convention so the hotel was really busy and was always buzzing with activity. All-in-all, you can’t beat the location, it was a fun and decent stay and for the $135-$145 rate per a night, it’s a good value. You can't do half stars on Tripadvisor, but I would rank it as a solid 3.5.

Here are some things to be aware of if you are considering staying here:

- Parking is $32 a night and this does not include tips

- They offer two pricings for Internet $10 a day for emailing, general browsing, etc, or a high-speed rate for streaming media ($12-$14) per a night but it is a free in public areas. If you sign up for Omni Loyalty program ahead of time, you may be able to get free Internet in your room..

- If you are a light sleeper ask for the South Tower and choose a room facing the interior of the CNN center. It is much quieter than a room facing street-side.

- This hotel is really busy - try to stay here when there is not a convention in town as it can get really crowded.

- Keep your room keycard handy as you need it to access the elevators. Please note they have smaller capsule-like elevators that can only fit a few people in them comfortably.

- The rooms that feature two beds are indeed Double Beds (not queens) and can make for a tight fit for two adults.

- Highly recommend getting an Atlanta City Pass if you stay here as it offers heavily discounted tickets for the Georgia Aquarium, The Inside CNN Tour and the World of Coke, all which are walking distance from this hotel.

Room Tip: If you get placed in the South Tower ask for a room facing the new Atlanta SkyView Ferris Wheel. It looks amazing at nighttime! For light sleepers ask for a room facing the interior and on higher floors to reduce the noise from the streets.

From a Service Dog - The staff was all very nice to me and professional. After my owner/handler who I help showed my Certifications everything went very well. Our room was plenty big and was quiet enough that I wasn't woke up by folks walking by in the halls, which gave me time to rest at the end of the day. I especially enjoyed being across the street from a really nice park so I could have a good walk before starting the day of work. I also liked having the elevators so close the escalators. I don't like escalators because my nails can get caught in them and it's very dangerous. Overall I'll be very happy if we go back there.

Our family of four just stayed there last night. The view was spectacular. It's at the heart of the city, which is walking distance to to all the sights.
Customer service was excellent. Nice and helpful employees. The best part for the kids was the surprise delivery of milk and cookies before bedtime!
We would definitely come back to stay.

The Hotel provide very friendly staff, and it was a very nice hotel. I was there for business travel, thus used a lot of amenities of the hotel. Room service was prompt and the food was very good. Upon arrival I was told there was no self parking, and the Valet parking was very Expensive.
