Long weekend here for an event at the Georgia dome, stayed the the North tower as we very happy with the accommodations. Big king bed was comfortable with nice linens, shower had plenty of heat and pressure. And of course, I like my room DARK, was able to get it almost completely black. You will occasionally hear the train come by, some really LONG freight trains in the middle of the night. You can't beat this place to location, can walk everywhere.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the park, not the Arena or Dome, that will help reduce the likelihood you'll hear the trains rolling through.

We visited the Omni in September 2013. The hotel is centrally located with easy walking to a number of attractions. Transport to other attractions was easy. Hired a car for the day to visit the outlet. There are a number of good eateries, sports bar nearby was good.
Loved the hotel and the concierge was excellent, helpful and full of local information. She wasn't there all the time but when she was we could ask her anything she had the answer. Improvements for the Omni 1. Change the sheets regularly, we're on holiday and prefer crisp sheets regularly. Parking is expensive in the hotel, customers staying for longer than 5 days should get a preferential rate. Access to help at the reception was a bit hit and miss but this may be because the hotel is in 2 halves with 2 receptions. All in all we had a good time and I would definitely stay again especially if breakfast was included. Anyone going, sign up as a member to get free internet in the rooms.

Expensive price to the level of Service received .
The Hotel is taking advantage to the near proximity to the convention center, so room was over price and did not include breakfast .
There is fast food center just near by.

Room Tip: North tower ,View to the downtown

We booked at the Omni for the convention and found it very convenient to the Expo halls. It has excellent service and facilities. As good as advertised! The restaurants were very accommodating even for last minute reservations and the food quality is good.

Stayed for a couple of nights for a convention at the Georgia World Conference Center. Well, you can't stay any closer. I stayed in the north tower and it was a 50 yard walk to the GWCC. Nice room, very clean. Friendly staff.
