“Very nice hotel with great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

Our family tripped to Atlanta to see the Georgia Aquarium and we stayed at the Omni. The hotel was very nice and at a great location for what we needed. We stayed in an upper floor of the North Tower and the room was great looking and very clean. The Omni staff was extremely friendly, in fact they gave our kids welcome gifts and later sent up cookies and milk which was a nice touch. Hotel was very close to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, Olympic Park, and the under-construction College Football HOF. The only complaint I have about the hotel is the valet parking charge. When we arrived, we were told there is no self-parking and that valet is $30 per night. We paid a slight bit more in order to stay at the Omni in the first place, but if I had known about the addition $30, we would have stayed somewhere else. Keep that in mind when comparing prices with other nearby hotels.

We stayed at the Omni at the CNN center on our way to and then our way back from Mexico last summer and what a treat. The Omni never disapoints with their wonderful customer service and uber comfortable beds. Just the fact that it is located in the CNN center makes for a pretty neat experience. The hotel itself is in immaculate condition and the service was great even though we got in pretty late at night. The airline had lost our luggage on our way back and delivered it to the hotel after we had already left, but the wonderful staff made sure it got back home to us in Virginia! If you are in the area don't miss out on going to the Olympic park and the aquarium for a day out. And when hunger strikes both Rays in the City and Varsity are wonderful places to eat.

We stayed here for a short weekend getaway. The hotel offered great packages to the Aquarium and the World of Coke. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. We had a great view of Atlanta. The pool was a little cold and the hot tub occupied by drinking 20-somethings. The highlight of the night for the kids was when we got back from swimming, the beds had been turned down and cookies and milk left for the kids. Breakfast was included and it was absolutely the best I've ever had from a hotel. Fabulous weekend.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are larger; Either tower is fun but all the main activities are in the main part.

We just spent 4 days at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta for the Final Four. Despite the total chaos of the Final Four festivities, the Omni provided excellent service in every capacity. They more than were accommodating. They met each and every need that you could possibly have, and with a smile and upmost respect. We ate in their restaurants and used room service, and the food was superb, and the staff was so nice. What a wonderful experience, in a situation that should have been less than perfect, and yet the Omni met all of our needs.

Stayed here recently for the Final Four games. The staff are great and very helpful, especially given the chaos of the Final Four. Rooms are so much better in the North Tower. Really nice but a huge contrast to some of the rooms in the CNN building which would be better converted to a shelter. Had a nice lunch in the bar area in the south tower. Overlooks the park. Great bloody Marys.

Room Tip: Avoid the south tower/CNN building and request the North Tower

Great hotel within walking distance to Phillips Arena, GA Aquarium, Centennial park and World of Coke. We visited the Omni for a weekend get away to celebrate our Anniversary. It worked for us because we didn't have to use our car until we got ready to leave. Lots of Resturants located within walking distance.
Make sure to join the Omni loyalty club, it's free when you make reservations online. Received free beverage in the morning. Beds are comfy, bathroom was large and clean.
Only two complaints, first was the walls are very thin. We could hear our neighbors next door. They had a small child that woke up at 6:30 and was running and laughing. We could hear them talking about breakfast..I just hope they couldn't hear us come in at 2am..second they charge $30 a night valet parking, which is the only option..like I said we didn't use the car so I paid $60 plus tips for storing my car. all they did was park it when we got there and moved it to the front when we left, that is too much considering the room prices. Over all the hotel is ok, it is overpriced, I guess because of the convience but next time I will probably go to the Marriott down the street it's only a few blocks away and the rooms are half the price.

Well, I really like the Omni hotels. Want to know why? Because they wake me up every morning with a fresh hot pot of coffee and a soft knock on my door, and they don't leave a check. Do you know how important that can be when you face a long business day? But that isn't the only thing I like...the property is well kept, the staff stays calm, even during the busiest convention evenings when people get demanding. They even leave you notes letting you know when there is going to be a large number of folks checking out and how to maneuver around the pending challenges for a quick getaway...now that's service.
