"Best ribs hands down in Bali"... your review of the Warung Sunset... Kuta, Bali.

Bali, Indonesia... a tropical oasis... where you and your husband...
enjoyed a quite date night...and then later with friends.

MegBrook... I found your commentary of your visit to Warung Sunset...
so romantic and beautifully written that I shared them with my wife Virginia.

It is unlikely that we will ever be in Bali... but you made us think...
"what if"...

G

PS... and YES.. I had no clue you could get ribs in Indonesia...
naïve I know...and presumptuous to think ribs belong to the USA

Visiting Atlanta which so many attractions a good hotel quality and location can help a lot for a good stay and time saving. Best Western - 330 Peach Tree is the right place and I and my wife had a good time there including comfortable room, good service and excellent location close to everything.

Brazil... what a remarkable country... 5th largest in area and in population...
seventh in world economy... originally named.. the "Land of the Holy Cross"...

I am both impressed.. and humbly appreciative of your kind words.

Brazil is also...in our TOP 5 foreign Countries... to come to our little Inn.
In rank order....Canada...Germany...Brazil...Italy...and UK/Spain tied for fifth.

What I never knew but discovered 3 years ago when we opened...
is that... Best Western properties... OVERSEAS...

Europe...Asia...South America...Oceania...to name a few...
are considered... a solid three star entity...
and we have been rather blessed/lucky to have so many foreign travelers...
visit and stay with us here in downtown Atlanta...

It accounts for... 35% of our business revenues...
which is huge... but not as huge as it will be...
when... our government finally... makes it easier...for visitors...
to come to the States...especially China.

SO... thank you so very much for choosing us.
Really am... very grateful... and good luck in the FIFA World Cup...

G

PS...YES of course... I am rooting for our team to place well.

Great location, close to Marta, great price. Within walking distance of Centennial Park, Coca Cola museum, Aquarium and CNN - all the places we wanted to see. Hotel manager and staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Stayed in a room that overlooked the beautiful courtyard. Loved Greta, who worked at the breakfast area. She went out of her way making sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful breakfast, loved the sausage, pancakes, and bagels. Went to a Braves game using Marta and free bus to stadium, which was a plus. Our Phillies won the game! Bit of advice, the Civic Center Marta is much easier to use than the Peachtree, even though both are close. Also, the rooms in the Courtyard are the best! Had a great vacation in Atlanta, thanks to Bestwestern Staff.

Room Tip: Stay in a room that overlooks Courtyard. We stayed in 229. The Courtyard Rooms are quieter and the...

"Love great food and historical tours"... what a great outlook you have on life.

I read your OTHER reviews... and you picked out two really good places..
to enjoy... food ...and... history... ME TOO love both...
(YES I know not proper grammar)

The Atlanta History Center and museum... which among many interesting...
things to see on it's compound.. also houses one of the largest...
collections of Civil War artifacts in the USA.

AND THEN... you go to Mary Mac's Tea Room...
founded in 1945...
which has...among the best... southern food in the State....
and which brought back childhood memories..
of the foods your grandmother used to make...
and that is so...because Mary Mac's uses "real food".

PERFECT visit to Atlanta...all by itself...

and yet... there was one more THING...
that happened while you were here and attended a Braves Game.
YOUR... Phillies won... not only one game but all three.

AND yes... you are forgiven this "extra" gluttonous" happiness.

G

PS...
thank you for letting ...me know...
that of the... two MARTA stations.... two blocks on either side of our Inn...
that the Civic Center one... was easier than the Peachtree station...
I DID NOT KNOW that.

This hotel, which at first glance, looked like a tiny little afterthought, was FABULOUS!! We booked it at the last minute just passing through town and were presently surprised by what we found here. The very small lobby is in stark contrast to the very nice, spacious rooms. And the bathroom.....ooohhhh......LOVED IT!!! The bathroom was HUGE! The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and professional, especially in light of the growing crowd that was waiting when we arrived due to the hotel being sold out the night before. The full breakfast was awesome.....all for a reasonable price considering it is in the heart of downtown ATL. I have already (and will continue) to recommend this hotel to my family and friends and definitely plan to stay here again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor a short distance from the front desk, the workout room snd the business...

Oh no.... a conundrum... "bathroom "ooohh loved it !! "... how to respond to this praise.

Occam's Razor... would suggest that the simplest answer... would be...
to respond with... "great" ..glad you.... loved... the "HUGE" bathroom.

And that would be a true statement...
FOR the bathroom...that you had...
it is indeed larger.

But we only have 5 of those guest rooms with larger bathrooms.

The other 104 guest rooms have much smaller bath or shower areas...
some are even teeny "tiny"...
which is a common problem...we share with...
16 of the 24 major hotels in downtown Atlanta...

SO... there in lies the dilemma.

Well... NO...not really a dilemma...
the truth is always (usually) ....the correct way to answer...

SO...the truth is...what it is.... and...
so as to NOT disappoint you... on any return trip to our Inn...
please request... one of the FIVE rooms on the inside...
WITH the "HUGE" bathrooms...
Rooms.. 141 - 142 - 143 - 144 or 145.

Thanks for the HEADLINE... I really liked that !!! .

Cannot beat the price for a comfy bed and clean, yet small room. This is an oldish hotel, but very good value. Includes a very good breakfast: waffles, pancakes, cold cereal, milk, juice, good coffee, bagels, muffins, donuts, grits, eggs, bacon. I mean what more could you want? No pool tho. Close to everything downtown you want to see, an easy walk to the aquarium. Would definitely stay here again.

"First... understand I am a die hard nature and animal lover... there is nothing I would...
rather do than go to a nature center, Zoo, national park etc."

THOSE are YOUR words from your review or the Virginia Safari Park...
in Natural Bridge, VA.

But they could well have been the words of my wife Virginia.

It let's us both know... that you are a person happy in life...
(especially when eating Italian food) and happiest when taking care of kids.

Happy to know your son loves Butterflies...
and enjoyed his first ever MLB game here at Turner Field...
sorry your team.... the Los Angeles Angels lost...

Second... thanks to Taylor's lucky #13 ... or the full moon not happening until 2049.

We were able to "get through"...Friday...Saturday and Sunday...
without anyone unhappy about anything...for three days... which is as rare as...
having a full moon on Friday the 13th.

Hmmmm... that does not read...quite the way I wanted it to...

Anyway... obviously... the FIRST thanks... has to... go to you...
for giving us our fourth ...Excellent in a row... that is rare for us to see...
so...
my wife Virginia and I... are grateful...and our staff... is happy.

I recently stayed in two different Best Western hotels in the Atlanta area (airport and Peachtree). Both experiences were very good and the value was excellent compared with the competition. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating to my needs. Given the location in the Atlanta area and accessibility to sites and attractions, I found the value to be outstanding. Thanks!

THREE ... excellent Headlines in a row (freaky) and now today it is... Friday 13th.

SO... does that mean that today and the weekend will be horrible for me /us.

I would like to be and stay positive... counting my blessings...
and thinking about the many things...
I am and should be grateful for... and all the people that matter to me.

SO...with "impending doom" looming... with the full moon today too...
I will keep in mind...that the number 13... is Taylor Swift's lucky number...
and simply thank you....
