I recently stayed at the Highland Inn hotel on a trip to Atlanta with my boyfriend. The room was fine from a cleanliness standpoint, but it was definitely lacking in other areas. If you're in search of a standard "Holiday Inn" looking hotel room, this is not it. All of the furniture and bathroom appliances looked outdated and old. What was even worse, however, was that our room was located directly over a bar that stayed open until 3 AM. Making it even harder to get a good night's sleep was the fact that the pipes make (very!) loud clanging noises at 9:30 every morning when steam is sent through them to heat the hotel. Other than that, the staff was friendly and it's in a good location. Still, I would still not recommend staying here.
