As an Atlanta native, it issomewhat unusual for me to need a hotel. Normally I stay with friends, but all were either out of town or renovating. Oh well.
In any event, chose the hotel because of the big rooms, pool and location, and wasn't disappointed on any count. The rooms feel more like a small apartment, given the fact there is a living room and smallish kitchen. I didn't actually use the pool, but had a look and it's fine. The location is within walking distance of several very good bars and restaurants, or within easy driving distance of the best Atlanta has to offer for dining and nightlife.
It's definitely not the flashiest place around. If you want that, stay next door at the Four Seasons or down the road at the W. If you stay here, you'll have to be content with lots of dark wood and brass knobs. But that aside, the above and good service win the day here.
