Going through the museum and seeing the memorabilia, artifacts and the history makes you appreciate life today. The most interesting for me is the Ebenezer Church, the Eternal Flame and the tombstone for both MLK Jr and Coretta. This place is great and very educational.

Most interesting are the birth home down the street and the Ebenezer Baptist Church where MLK and his father preached but visitors are discouraged by ban on advance reservations for birth home and limited access to both.

Not a lot of people around. The site looked a bit haggard. Exhibit was in poor repair. Staff were few and far between.

The King Center is a must do for all visitors to Atlanta. There are exhibits with Dr. and Mrs. Kings personal items along with a Ghandi exhibit and the tomb and eternal flame of Dr. King. This place is great just needs a face lift.

Great for teaching your kids, however my nephew was just learning to read and stated we had to leave after seeing a Whites only sign. My mom had to tell him it was a part of the museum
lol
