This is more like 3.5 stars. The hotel was in good condition, overall the staff was very friendly, and the bed was comfortable.
A couple of minuses: downtown Atlanta is convenient to exactly nothing and there's this weird, empty feeling after 5 p.m. This is common in nearly every city, and not the hotel's fault. Also, I was on the 16th floor, and I could still hear street noise and sirens. The windows opened all the way, and there were no screens, which I thought was odd and potentially dangerous, especially if one is traveling with small children.
So yes, I would stay here again (I got a great rate $108/night), but only if I had business in downtown Atlanta. For my own purposes, I am better off in Midtown or Buckhead.
