“Great Location”
Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

Hotel was in a great location. We went to Hawks game, coca cola museum, and cnn building. Very short walk to all of these places. Right across street from aquarium, coca cola museum, and Olympic park.Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Guys working in the breakfast area were very nice and funny. Big sports guys. Ate breakfast at hotel everyday, breakfast was good, they fixed omelets, French toast, pancakes to order along with buffet with bacon, sausage, biscuits, muffins, fruit, waffles, cereal. Room was up to date. Bathtub was huge like jacuzzi tub. I would recommend this hotel.

Not what i expected for a HILTON hotel...and DOWNTOWN! Atlanta vs Saints game. Upon entering, the entire hotel smelled like a BBQ pitt. No Hilton decor that i am used to seeing. The tub/bathroom was small and old. Toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it. Paid $30 at the bar for 2 drinks(crown royal)???? I can go on and on. I think the people who stayed there were just as disappointed as we were if they are used ti Hilton Hotels. The only +++ I give is to the handicapped doorman. I sat and watched him work just as hard as his co-workers. Thumbs up to this guy!! Great motivation!!

Happy New Year from the Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Downtown,

Based on your description of the bathroom and of the doorman you met, we believe you stayed at a different location. I'm sure that property cares as much about customer feedback as we do, so I'll be happy to help to you connect with their leadership team. If I can be of assistance, please call me at 404-704-8042.

Great location to anything downtown Atlanta. Perfect location to the Atlanta Aquarium, CNN Center and Centennial Park. Very clean rooms, very reasonable price. Lots of restaurants walkable from this hotel also.

Chose to stay here (I wanted my loyalty points) versus the other designated conference hotels, for a week long event I was attending at the World Congress Center. Location could not be better for that purpose. Room was clean and quiet. Staff very personable and helpful. My colleagues staying at other hotels were envious on the convenience and quality, asking how did I know to stay there? Just a hunch that Hilton would deliver, I guess.

I planned a strategy workshop at this hotel for our global team. It is the perfect location for business meetings and it worked out well for the size of our team (20-25 ppl). The reason it is not your typical HGI because it includes a Legal Seafood restaurant inside the hotel and it is set up for business meetings. The meeting rooms were comfortable, modern and integrated with up-to-date technology. The staff was great and took great care of all the guests. The rooms were well-appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The location was perfect! Most of our team came from other countries and enjoyed the location with access to so many amenities and attractions in downtown ATL. If you are looking for a hotel for small to medium size business meetings in downtown ATL, this is the place! Here are some of our activities which were literally steps away from the hotel (or in the hotel).

1st night - Welcome Reception:  STATS Sports Bar
2nd night - Dinner:  Legal Seafood
3rd night - Dinner / Team Building;  GameX (this place was fun!)

Some people went to the World of Coke and the Aquarium too which are located next door. One of my colleagues and I went running every morning through Centennial Olympic Park.  A few guys went to Der Biergarten before they left for the airport.   So in summary, we explored Luckie St. district quite a bit.  Everything was so convenient and easy for the team plus the hotel's hospitality was 1st class.

Great location, delicious restaurant, clean room, safe atmosphere, and feel-good staff! convenient place to walk to all the attractions in the city. I stayed for a convention , but ended up touring the city due to this hotel! I have nothing negative to say. I was well-fed during the entire trip, due to the excellent restaurants in Atlanta. I am not a huge fan or loyal customer of Hilton, but I do have to say that after this hotel, I am more open to staying at other Hilton Garden Inns, at least.

Room Tip: sorry about the spa rating, i accidentally rated it when i did not use or recall any spa. there was...

We arrived late on Friday of Labor Day weekend. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our room had a great view of downtown. We were within walking distance of the stadium, the aquarium, and so many great restaurants. The staff made an effort to put our group in rooms near each other. It was a busy weekend with the Alabama/Virginia Tech game and dragon con in town. It was a great convenient place to stay downtown.
