“We didn't really know what to expect but are so glad we went”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We learnt a lot, not just about Carter but, even more interestingly, the good work he & his wife have done worldwide.

“Mr. Carter's footprint on the world stage.”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Mr. Carter has been a super humanitarian and his center is used to help coordinate his continued impact. He takes an interest in international politics and thankfully has the ability to negotiate and mediate in the most upsettting of situations. His work to improve quality of life in areas of Africa and to work with the North Koreans will be part of his legacy to the planet.

“Bargain priced w/beautiful grounds... Oval office is must see”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

The Carter Center shouldn't be missed if you are a car traveler to Atlanta. What I liked about it best was the price. At $8 for adults it is a real bargain. It chronicals President Carter's life from birth to present day. A good 15 minute film narrated by Martin Sheen opens your trip to the museum. The museum can be easily navigated in less than 2 hours. The oval office will be enjoyed by young and old alike. The views of downtown Atlanta from the back of the museum are incredible. The grounds surrounding the museum are great for a picnic or stroll and have a very relaxing feel. The museum gift shops offer a number of interesting items about Carter and the American Presidency at decent prices. I bought some nice rulers with all the US Presidents on the for only $1.25 each!

“Wonderful grounds lots to see”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

The Carter Center is a very nice facility to learn about President Carter's legacy as a philanthropist. It's a tad tricky to get to but worth checking out if you're in the area. Also a really spacious and affordable venue for weddings. The staff could benefit from some customer service training.
