Owner description: Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

Last April-13 was our second time at Georgia Aquarium (first was 4 years ago) we enjoyed it a lot. It is one of the top ten attractions in the United States. My wife, 3 children and I, spent hours gazing to the amazing exhibitions of diverse kinds of marine live. I loved the rays and the colorful fish. Dolphin’s tales left my kids amazed. I took hundreds of pictures. Now that we are back to Atlanta we cannot wait to be again into one of the world’s best aquariums.

“So much to do”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

We spent a day here in November. We arrived right on opening and didnt leave until just before closing time. There is so much to see and do. We were impressed with the different areas of the aquarium. It is fairly easy to navigate between each section. The sea lion show was excellent. We wished there were more feedings/shows and maybe a print out of what was on during the day. Overall, a great experience.

“Very Nice”

It was very nice, great attractions, it's a little bit small, meaning it will take you about 3 hours to do it all, but it was worth it :).

“Great experience”
Reviewed December 16, 2013

This is really a splendid aquarium. I planned to stay 2 hours and spent 5 hours there. I am a sea lover and this was really awesome experience watching all these sea creatures. Of course nothing beats diving and seeing the real thing being a snorkeling hobbyist myself, however, seeing many of the creatures one would never encounter except by deep sea diving or paying thousands of dollars in trips for shark or (beluga) whale watching.

Go early or in regular days if you want to avoid the crowds. I went on Saturday and by 2 PM, the crowd was really annoying.

Although I adore dolphins, their dolphin show sucks. Very cheap American showbiz. Let these dolphins play freely for heavens sake.

Ticket price is a bit high (~39$).
