Owner description: Georgia Aquarium is the world's most magical aquarium. Situated near Centennial Olympic Park and World of Coca-Cola in downtown Atlanta,Georgia, Georgia Aquarium offers its guests an experience like no other. Across six separate galleries, with more than 70 amazing habitats, 10 million gallons of water and thousands of species of marine animals, guests will marvel at, learn about and come to better understand such majestic aquatic animals as whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, beluga whales, sea otters, African penguins and thousands of species of exotic fish and other animals. The spectacular AT&T Dolphin Tales show combines incredible natural animal behaviors with dynamic theatrics, a Broadway-inspired musical score and a compelling story, which together underscore the connection between humans and the animal world. The animated "Deepo's Undersea 3D Wondershow," for all ages, tells an entertaining but important story about conserving and protecting animals and their natural environment. Cafe Aquaria offers delicious sandwiches, salads, pizza, pasta and delectable desserts. Two gift shops give visitors the chance to take home a treasured collectible. Special animal encounter programs offer the chance to go behind the scenes and come face-to-face with dolphins, sea otters and penguins. Guests can even swim or dive with whale sharks and manta rays in the world's largest aquarium habitat (at 6.3 Million gallons), Ocean Voyager built by the Home Depot. And an onsite parking deck immediately adjacent to the aquarium means quick, easy-to-find and affordable parking.

“Great Family Outing”

Loved the Dolphin Show, make sure to reserve your seat even though it is included in your entry fee. It was surprisingly more than I expected and our kids loved it! The rest of the exhibits are cool too. Overall I would recommend visiting.

“Worth the annual pass!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

We bought annual passes when the aquarium first opened and my daughter was 2. We keep the passes renewed each year and have never gotten sick of going. There is always so much to see and do. Now, if we just want to go spend an hour or two on a rainy day, it's always there for us. They have put so much effort into this aquarium, you will not be disappointed! We are Disney fans, and Sea World fans, and this really stands up to those!

“Great Attraction”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2013

We loved this aquarium. It is beautifully done and the amount of attractions to see are very impressive. My son specifically wanted to see the Whale sharks. My husband wanted to see the Manta Rays (sorry if spelled wrong). I suggest going early. We went at opening and by the time we left, it was packed. I loved watching the Otters.

“Overrated and over priced”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013

I liked it well enough, but, it is overrated and overpriced. It isn't as good as the National Aquarium, or even the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky. There is less exhibited in this than those, but, they tried to tell more of the story of water life. The dolphin show was good - the dolphins did great. However, the humans have too much involvement and that is corny. Must see in Atlanta, too bad it is overpriced. One thing that was a surprise, is that we easily did it in less than 4 hours and seen everything.

“So well done”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013 via mobile

Huge aquarium where you can spend some hours admiring all different aquatic animals. My favorite part was watching the belugas play underwater with some ropes, and the albino crocodiles. The tunnel is also amazing, you can spend hours watching the whale sharks swim across. One sweet thing I was not expecting to see is a fully food court with lots of food choices! I was expecting the typical burger, hot dog or greasy pizza, but they provide you with a deli, specialty food and even a salad bar.
