“Love those Sweet Tomatoes!!”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

We stopped with a small group of 24 while on a bus tour and it was wonderful!! It didn't take long at all for all of us to get thru the line and there was something to please everyone. You can have salad, baked Potato bar, soups, pasta, many different breads and dessert bar. The price is very reasonable and its all you can eat. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a large carry out business also with containers that looked sturdy instead of the ones that fall apart when you try to fill them. Its a nice spot to take a large group for lunch, something for everyone.

“Carry out is nice but be careful you don't spill!”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

You pick up the carry out box (like a shallow boat) at the front door and they give you the lid when you pay....if you're not careful, you may spill or pile too high, or not high enough. But the price is reasonable and you can fit a lot of food in the carryout boat.

Cups for soup are extra ($2.99) and I guess you could put dessert or bread in those, but I just put them next to my salad and pasta. However, if you don't like your foods "mingling" it might get very expensive for you to do carry out here.

“Remodeled...all new after fire”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Clean and new, just like before the fire, All food is made from scratch, old southern term, meaning "fresh." Each month features a special "in season" soup, bread , fruit and dessert..
Only negative was some rolls were ,hard and dry....so, a little room for improvement.

Love this place, hope they locate to our state soon.

“Eat healthy here!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This salad bar is great. Sweet Tomatoes also serves fresh homemade soups, breads, baked potatoes and pasta. They bake fresh cookies and offer at least another dessert i.e. lava chocolate cake (served warm) for dessert along with their soft serve ice cream and toppings. We love it and since it's a buffet, you don't have to wait for a meal to be prepared. Would be a good place for kids too.
