Description: This well-established restaurant is best known for a mix of popular New Orleans and NYC dishes like overstuffed Carnegie Deli corned beef sandwiches, charbroiled oysters and giant aged steaks. Joey D’s is the ultimate Atlanta Perimeter power spot; you can do a lunch meeting and then a drinks meeting all in one place- each with a different setting. From the bustling restaurant to the creme de la creme, photo-worthy bar boasting over 600 brands of spirits, Joey D’s delivers on all counts. Cheers, indeed.

This place is everything you want if you're looking for a good quality steak at a reasonable price. The Pittsburgh Style steaks here are awesome. Good quality food and a nice business casual atmosphere.

I guess this is one of the drawbacks of social media and the abundance of reviews at our finger tips. I remember when we would get recommendations directly from someone we knew. After reading countless reviews on this restaurant, I chose Joey D's. I was expecting much better, and was disappointed. It was good, but not great. And one site gives it $$ out of 5. I would say its a sold $$$ out of five. The food was OK. The service (the reviews did call this!) was mediocre. The volume was loud enough to make conversations for parties above four difficult. There are so many choices in that area, I don't think I'll be back.

Bar is gorgeous with the liquor on display to the ceiling. Bartender was incredible with the best Martinis. Food was fantastic and good value with large portions. Definitely a guys place but if you are a female be sure to order the martini with "love juice" secret ingredient the bartender would not share but whew- so worth it. Yum.

Just delighted to find this gem on a business trip to Atlanta.
Its big and noisy yet very intimate and warm.

The surprise was the quality/price of their aged prime beef.
$29. for a complete dinner with one of the best bone in ribeye's ever.
I have dined at all of the fine steadhouses and this is up there with the best for quality, tenderness and flaver.

Joey D' Oak Room is a lot of fun, and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a casual meal in a good-time atmosphere.

The bar is ridiculously huge, and it makes a nice backdrop for photos. I had the she-crab soup, and let me say this -- everyone needs to stop whining about bits of shell in the she-crab soup. It's normal, people!

The peppered-vodka oyster shots were fun and tasty.

All-in-all, a good value for the dollar in a nice location.
