“I just don't get that excited about noodles.”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

It was fun to watch the eclectic crowd. Students have no idea how entertaining they are to older people.

“Love this place”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

I eat here about 3 times per month and love it - great wok friend green beans! I also always take out so I can take it to lunch the next day.

“Delicious”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Excellent food! Big portions which work well for next day leftovers. Would eat there all the time if I could! Had Chinese Lo Mein. Excellent place for Emory students and family visits.

“Next to Emory and great for a quick meal”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This place is always busy - lots of parking (but don't extend your stay as there is apparently always someone around giving tickets). The food is fast, good and reasonably-priced.

“Tasty Fusion Fare”
Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

Doc Chey's is a laid back restaurant tucked away in the Morningside neighborhood. The
Menu looked somewhat limited at first - starters (labeled Dim Sum), larger selections of soups and salads, some tacos, a handful of noodle and stir fry dishes, and whatever specials might be on the board for the day. But the portions are big enough to share with one or two others. We ordered the Thai coconut soup (a variation of traditionalTom Kha), Miso soup, Marco Polo (udon noodles and vegetables in tomato ginger sauce), Pad Thai, and Mongolian stir fry. Everything was delicious! Not salty. Not loaded with garlic. Very well done and very inexpensive. The restaurant offers a selection of drinks, including numerous tea options, as well as beer (and possibly wine?).

The restaurant is a modet size, but if going in the warmer months, there is plenty of outdoor seating. It is a family-friendly environment (meaning people brought children), though I am not sure whether there is a kid's menu (check the website).

We would definitely be back!
