AFM can always be depended on to satisfy just about every person in your group -however, the guests can sometimes get just a little noisy, but that's OK, it's worth it!

We were in search of a good seafood place in Atlanta. After we checked Trip Advisor, we found a place with great reviews – The Atlanta Fish Market. However, our hesitation was that did we want seafood bad enough to battle rush hour traffic in Buckhead. Well, we were rewarded well beyond our expectations. Our friend had the Salmon Prix Fixe dinner (a Restaurant Week Special) which he proclaimed one of the best prepared salmon he has ever had. He travels each week, as do I, and we have many opportunities for fine dining. He also enjoyed the Maryland Crab Chowder. My wife and I couldn’t get over the variety of fresh seafood available with several options for preparation. She started with the Creamy New England Clam Chowder which wasn’t like other, overwhelmingly thick chowders that most restaurants serve. She loved her sautéed Red Snapper as I did my Grouper. Both were perfectly cooked. All entrees were accompanied by a choice of vegetable, potato or rice. All we can say is that the dinners were delicious at an affordable price. We will definitely be back!

The food at AFM is great - no complaints there. We had an issue with parking and the service. We waited for quite a while to have our car valeted upon arrival and departure. Lots of attendants, but very disorganized.

Dinner reservations were made, but we weren't seated for 45 minutes after the reserved time. I'm not sure what the point of a reservation is if they seat based on when you arrive along with walk-in customers.

The service was sub-par. Food was excellent, but our server was all over the place. We actually felt bad for her - it seemed like she had tables all over the restaurant instead of one area. This caused delays in service and it took over 2 hours from the time we sat down to when we finally paid our bill.

I love their food and eat here often for business needs, but not sure I would elect to eat here out of personal preference.

I had the surf and Turf. The Lobster tail was not only small but overcooked and rubbery which make me suspect it was a frozen one ( not the ones you see in the tank ) That is a different priced lobster.

The fillet was also small and a bit bland but at least it was properly cooked.

Reservation at 7PM finally got a table at 7:30. Totally packed, no place to wait. Kept checking and was told next on list. Eight parties later still waiting. Asked manager he said it was "complicated" and all of a sudden a table appears. Ordered, first course and bread took a long time to come 2 minutes later our main course arrived. So loud could not have a conversation with the person next to you. Food still very good but not worth the loud atmosphere and poor service.
