Fontaine's is a pretty average oyster bar. The food's decent, the drinks are fine, and everything is moderately priced. I wouldn't say it's a must go, but if you're out barhopping in the Highlands, it's not a bad stop to make. It usually has a pretty young crowd, a lot of Emory seniors, and you definitely won't be disappointed

Stand around the oyster bar and suck back a few while watching the hipsters and yuppies walk by outside. The food is just OK, but the oysters, atmosphere and good service make it worth more than one visit. Tip: ride a motorcycle or scooter? Spots right outside the door for 2 wheel vehicles only. Perfect.

Here every Friday from 5-7 happy hour, half priced oysters and crab legs. Delicious dinner and plenty else to do in the Highlands vicinity.

Various days and times oysters, really fresh wonderful Gulf Oysters, are offered for $6 a dozen with seasonal Sam Adams pints for $2.50. They have other specials so check their website. It is a great way and place to spend a couple of deliscious hours. Their menu is varied and all thebfood that comes out looks very good. We usually go just for oysters and ar arguably the best and most reasonably priced in Atlanta. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood area and is a fun and worthwhile adventure which I recommend to any oyster lover.

My hubby and I went here for the first time this weekend and while the inside was loud, we sat on the beautiful patio and it was perfect. The patio is on the 2nd level and covered with greenery/flowers. Service was great and food was good. Best part was the oysters, we got the sampler. My husband had the catfish plate and it was average. I got the shrimp poboy and it was average. Go here for the oysters and awesome patio.
