Description: Famous for their see and be seen Happy Hours and beyond, The Tavern at Phipps is a bustling Buckhead hot spot where the drinks flow like water and the napkins fly high. While it's cocktails, lively atmosphere and best looking wait staff have made it a go-to spot for any night out in Atlanta for over 20 years, the classic American fare such as their trademark Tavern chips, hearty salads and Carnegie Deli pastrami keep you coming back for more. Trust us, it's worth the trip.

I'm not a big shopping center restaurant fan but this restaurant feels like you're stepping into a dark private club. This restaurant has that "old feel" like Old Ebbitt Grill in downtown Washington DC has (the new location). Menu was interesting - lots of salads! Really enjoyed it! Great service also!

We were staying across the street at the Ritz-Carlton, so we walked over to Phipps Center for lunch. We decided to eat at The Tavern. The menu was varied with many selections. Both of us had sandwiches. Tons of food! But it was delicious! The place was crowded for Friday lunch. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable.

In spite of being somewhat noisy with their open spaced seating the food and service are absolutely outstanding. While not at all cramped, the dining area is very open and goes out into Phipps plaza. I suggest any of their salads or burgers. Both are absolutely fantastic.

Food are sympathic, but waitress are fun.
I taste the tavern burger with a bier and the cost is not so expensive.
We have music during the lunch and this ambiance help us to feel good.
Waitress wear very short dress and they are beautiful.

Ok, I never like to be negative nancy but this was so bad!! We ordered the spinach dip for a started and couldn't eat it. I never send food back but it was horrid. I had the chicken plate with green beans and the sauce was terrible!!
