After being trapped in downtown Atlanta for a week of business, a nice change of scenery was the goal. Rode the Marta to Lenox Square and the bartender at Nieman Marcus did not disappoint. He suggested Anis Bistro as a a place with great food and a local vibe. The added extras were the music by Mes Amis and the wonderful weather for outdoor seating. (take a cab from the mall to the resturant) We ordered appertizers, tartare de tomate and a cheese plate with a cocktail at the bar. We were early and beat the dinner crowd with no reservations. For our meal, I enjoyed the Loup de Mer and my colleague ordered the Steak Frites from the lunch menu and they were quick to accommodate. Both were perfectly perpared in the french tradition of light sauces and great sides. The evening was well worth the cab ride. Bon Appetit.
