My husband & I love to dine in downtown. The best & most awesome is Trader Vic's & the best service from Linda who attends your every need from the famous delicious maiti to fabulous entrees - wok stir fry seafood is fantastic. But Linda will make the most delectable dessert "bananas foster" you have ever had in your life ! A delightful experience & a delightful Linda at Trader Vic's will always make you come back over & over. Awesome !!! Our fav !!!

“Excellent but pricey for Atlanta.”
Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

Enjoyed dinner before a game in the beautiful lower level of the Hilton hotel. Always a great place for drinks. Large shared cocktails for groups. We had the surf and turf and the lamb chop. Both very good. Disappointed no vegetable on the lamb plate for that price. Just lamb an noodles. Shared the vics egg roll to start. Very good as well.

“Great for a large group”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We had a large that kept 'growing' even after we were seated. The staff handled it just fine. Drink orders were taken promptly, food orders were taken promptly, and the food was delivered in a timely fashion and at the correct temp. From the drinks to the appetizers to the main course, the meal went smoothly and the food was delicious. Even our water glasses were filled in timely fashion. Ricardo and Borgi both did an excellent job of taking care of our group.

“Bangin' Bananas Foster, prepared by Linda”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

My father and I go every year to the Big South volleyball tournament in Atlanta. Each year it is our tradition to enjoy dinner and our all-time favorite dessert. (Made by the best) No one should ever visit Atlanta without enjoying Bananas Foster prepared by Linda. Also, they serve a great filet!

“Great drinks, fantastic atmosphere, great pu pu”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

All of the worldwide Trader Vic's are presumably supposed to conform to the same exact high standards. We've found that some don't quite live up to the standards (and I believe that we've probably visited 9-10 world-wide), but this one definitely does live up the their standards.

We give it a thumbs up on the drinks (which we haven't done on some T.V. locations that feel that they can make their own improvements on the Mai Tai).

The dinner menu seems a bit limited, but we go to Trader Vic's for the drinks, the pu-pu's and the romantic atmosphere and we weren't disappointed. You will definitely NOT get a watered-down drink; they are fantastic and are consistent with the standard that we've seen at other worldwide Trader Vic's.

If you haven't had it - definitely try the Bongo Bongo soup! Yes, even if you're just going for drinks and wouldn't consider ordering a bowl of soup - DO IT! This is one of Vic's signature dishes - a smooth blend of spinach, oysters, cream, and whatever. You've got to have it!

Drinks - my wife liked the Zombie (but I didn't) the Mai Tai and the Scorpion were fantastic.

Fortunately we were able to walk and take MARTA back to our hotel.
