“Great restaurant”

Excellent food and service. Second time eating there and it is always great. Variety of food and desserts are great. You can have chef's choice or order from the menu.

“Fun place for celebration”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

We went here this weekend for my brother's birthday. Arriving with reservation on a Sunday at 6 we were the only people in the restaurant.

First off, after we ordered, they brought out some loony hats for us to wear and turned on the disco. Not only was it very festive and fun for all of us, my 9 year old daughters loved it - getting up do the "YMCA." A waiter came and joined them, dancing.

After that they brought us an unordered appetizer and told us it was at no cost. (I think it was a large caprese salad.) This was followed by several other complimentary appetizers including meatballs, potato croquets, a delicious herbed polenta, some sliced parmesan, delicious bread, and literally another one or two. We loved them and there were in fact the best part of the dinner.

I will agree with those who say this place does not have the very best Italian food. It's competent and ok. It is priced quite high for what it is.

Still, the owner/manager? recognized us from prior visits and made sure we had a birthday party to remember. I am very appreciative and we will be back.

Once again the food is great! The owners are great and always make time to stop by the table and visit. They know us by name and show us special attention. Enjoy the atmosphere and meal. Carpe diem !!!

“Overpriced & Underwhelming”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Other than the ear-splitting disco music which the owners will never turn down, not much to recommend this place. Terrifically overpriced wine (by the glass -- $12 and that's for a $15/bottle of wine .. but more reasonably priced by the bottle). Pastas are kind of ridiculous - marina for $22.95?? soup for $10?? arugula salad for $15?? Not special enough by a long shot ... and the ambiance is dated, old-fashioned and kinda weird. Give it a miss.

We went here for Valentines Day and it was one of our most fun Valentines. We had the special Valentines day menu and the food was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be going back here.
