Decor much nicer than most Thai/Sushi restaurants. Attentive service, nice presentation and very good thai food.

“A little of everything, but no mango rice pudding”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

A clean and neat place for a casual evening dining. The menu is mixed with Japanese and Thai food, a combination but not a fusion. One of our friends asked for mango rice as desert but they didn't have.

“Masaman”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

I had the volcano which was dry, they brought out the ginger salad which was atleast one day old - not fresh. But it's not really a sushi dominant place more an after thought. My wife said her drunken noodle dish was excellent and My daughter said her chicken MasamanI was good except the sweet potatoes were too hard and she set those aside. The house Pinot noire was excellent 2 adults, 2 kids: $82.00

“Premiere food served by a professional staff. One of my favorite Thai spots.”
Reviewed February 11, 2012

Came here in the evening just before driving to attend the entertaining, as well as informative "Real State of the Union" presented each year in Atlanta by WAND. Only had about 45 minutes to dine and checked with the staff to see if the dishes we were interested in ordering would be a problem, or not. They came through just fine, with plenty of time to spare.
Shortly after they provided the hot towels they took our orders.
We had an outstanding spicy sushi roll (a specialty for the day- about $10) and, while have had an excellent spicy catfish dish here previously, I ventured to try their fried rice and shrimp dish served in 1/2 a pineapple (~$12). Nice presentations, and the portions were generous, while prices were quite reasonable.
A good selection of menu items for those who are vegetarians or who only eat fish, as well as for omnivores.
The waitresses came by several times to check on us and were uniformly friendly.
The setting here is pleasant, plenty of outside parking. There is outside seating, but as it is a strip mall parking lot, just down the mall from Krogers, a small gym, etc., it's not an attractive outside setting, even when the weather is warm enough.
The interior is pleasant, and the lighting level just right.
Thaicoon takes reservations, and also offers takeout. While most of the patrons were couples, it is nicely set up for familes as well.
We anticipate coming here more often in the future as it is a pleasant place to take guests.
I didn't give a high mark for atmosphere only in that the view is what it is.
