Description: "The secret to beautiful food is using the ingredients in their most natural form." At Chef/Owner Marla Adams'Atlanta Restaurant, and with Chef Justin Kurtz now at the helm, life imitates art in a remodeled 1916 bungalow, nestled between the historic Inman Park and Poncey-Highland neighborhoods. You'll feel like a foreign film star as Babette's Cafe brilliantly brings Isak Dinesen's story of food, grace and community to vivid and delicious life in a rustic, European setting. For twenty-four years, Babette's Cafe has offered the flavor of stepping into a restaurant that is tucked into the French Countryside, making diners forget that they are just minutes away from downtown Atlanta.

Short and Sweet....All 4 of us ordered a different dish, everyone raved about their food.
The wine was crisp and cool, not overpriced.
The wait staff was attentive, kind, knowledgeable about the wine.
This was our first experience at Babette's. We plan to celebrate our 24th anniversary here in 2 weeks!

I've eaten here often and never had anything less than a delightful experience. The menu always offers enough temptations to make choosing just one difficult. The food is perfectly prepared, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is pleasantly QUIET and peaceful.

Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere. Seating is close together(it's a tiny place), so if you're looking for somewhere quiet, you may be disappointed.

Brunch was pretty good here, but not a place that we would crave. The basket of baked goodies like scones, muffins was very good, but beyond that the other stuff was OK. The shrimp and grits is what they are known for and those were good if you like heavier creamier grits without any tomato broth or flavor to bring some acidity to the dish. Would be better if they added some.

Treat yourself to a wonderful dinner Babett's has a variety of unusual dishes. Most of the wait staff have been there for years so the service is very good.
