If you are looking for a great breakfast in the Atlanta area, you cannot go wrong at Thumbs Up. But stop at the cash machine before you go. No credit or debit cards. The food was plentiful, well prepared and served with a smile. Even on a THursday morning the place was packed. The French toast is wonderful. Two pieces were too much for my husband, who is 6'3". The country sausage was fresh and cooked right..not undercooked or overlooked. Perfect. Same with the bacon. They offer healthy alternatives like turkey bacon and egg whites. Plus you won't break the bank with their reasonable prices. This is a small chain in Atlanta. We would love one here in St Petersburg, Florida.

We love seeking out new places to eat on Trip Advisors when traveling!! We were heading to the Georgia Aquarium and wanted to eat at a local breakfast spot! We only waited about 15 minutes as the staff was hustling the entire time we were there! There was a lot of good energy there-everyone seemed happy to be there and did I mention that the food was delicious!!! We'll be back!

Trying to escape the Georgia Dome traffic we stumbled upon Thumb's Up and found a gem of a diner. Doesn't have the stuffiness of other Sunday brunch places, or the pricetag! I got The Heap skillet adding veggies and sausage, which was probably the best skillet I've ever had. Also sampled my friends Shrimp & Grits, Black Bean Fritatta, regular and buckwheat pancakes. Service was great and the portions huge! Anyone who can finish The Heap is worthy of my respect, I barely finished it!

A great find in downtown Atlanta. We parked around back of the diner. Cash only! Very busy expect to wait for a table. Wait staff is friendly and fast. The food is fresh and very tasty. The portions are just right. Prices are very affordable. A great selection of items on the menu. Blueberry jam and Peach jam sit on the table with real maple syrup for pancakes, french toast or waffles. Will definitely eat there again next time in Atlanta.

The title sums it up. Large portions, lots of variety, cheap and good food. We went on a weekday for breakfast. We spent no more than $25 for two people and it was fast.
