This was an amazing house! I would have loved to go in to learn more about it. We just stood at the front and then drove off.

The Swan House isn’t as big as The Biltmore, but it certainly had all of the same advantages! Mrs. Inman had the nicest bathroom when most people were using outhouses! The house construction began in 1924 & was move in ready in 1928. She loved loved 17th & 18th centuries antiques & the house is still full of them, especially ones with swans. The house was used in the movie The Hunger Games. Great experience!

Swan house is near the history center and the perfect place for a formal tea after touring the history center. A tour of the Swan house is also fabulous-- an old Gatsby-esque house on a grand scale.

Our group recently hosted a 4-hour private event for about 40 ladies, downstairs in the Bellenita Room. We had the Swan's Favorite luncheon. The classic chicken salad, frozen fruit salad, and cheese straws were enjoyed by all, as was the French silk meringue swan. The wait staff was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. We used their sound system for our speaker. The most popular part of the entire day was the delightful gift shop on the main floor! The majority of ladies left carrying shopping bags!
