“3 for 3 at Cibo e Beve”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2012

Just visited Cibo e Beve for my third lunch time rendezvous. Each time has been in a different season - Winter, Spring and Summer and each time has been a delight. The chef incorporates whatever produce and ingredients are fresh and new into the menu. Baby lettuces, fresh figs, cherries and Italian cheeses are among the most memorable ingredients to dance upon my tongue there. Each visit we have met a different cast of servers, so I am not sure what this means, but the service has always been great. I need to try again for dinner some day, but for a break from the usual lunch time rut, I recommend a mini vacation to Italy and suggest that you make room for the wonderful desserts!

“Great local Italian joint”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2012

I'm so glad the Food 101 folks put in a new and different restaurant in the same shopping center. I really like going here. Diverse menu, good price point, really good pizza (not Antico good but still very good), great selection of wines by the glass, friendly and wine-knowledgeable servers. It's a really solid experience with a good menu, food and service. I have no complaints.

Also, they offer cooking lessons and demos on Saturdays from time-to-time.

“Great time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2011

The resturant is small so you need to make reservations. We had a deconstructed pizza which was really really good. I had a veal dish which was really good. My buddy had a cedar plank salmon which he said what the best he has ever had. The resturant is a a bit too small with too many people but we really enjoyed it. We would go back again since the food was great, we enjoyed the atmosphere, and our waiter was really good.

“Fabulous Upscale Italian Cuisine”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2011

Not your standard Italian fare; yes, pasta is on the menu, but it's done with flair, extra-fresh ingredients, and a local touch (mine incorporated turnip greens and was excellent). We were a party of six, each of us had something different, and everybody loved it. Seafood, chicken, pasta - all good. Great feel to the space, too.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2011

Totally disappointed with the food. The restaurant was overcrowded and the kitchen was just throwing out food. All meals were tasteless and in some cases overcooked. The veal dish was sent back and then returned even more well done then it was before. The lobster spaghetti had no taste. The salmon was tasteless. The evening was pandemonium. We know that the head chef is talented, but it did not show up when we dined there.
