We had a good stay. The hotel was nice, with modern decor. There was lemonade and fruit punch in the lobby, although the checkin took quite awhile. There was 2 attendants while there were 10 people in line. They did open up 2 more lines and we were then waited on promptly. We went to the Fox Theatre for an event. This hotel was fairly close and easy to get to. We arrived back around 10:30pm and the restaurant onsite was still open. The food was very good and the prices were very comparable. The rooms were clean and comfortable as well as quite. The valet service was ontime and very good to work with. All in all we had a very good stay and would definately stay here again.

Just returned from 3 night stay at Hilton Atlanta for daughters bday weekend. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear, the walls are very thin it seemed like the couple in the next room were in the room with us could hear every word. The bed was comfy but the bathroom was tiny. We were given breakfast vouchers which we really appreciated because the buffet was really good and plentiful, you can choose from hot and cold items including omelets, sausage, grits waffles and a variety of fresh fruits and pastries. Other reviewers have said the hotel has a good downtown location, I found that not really to be the case. We did not rent a car because we thought there would be more to do within walking distance, not a great idea, there were so many homeless people, not just one here and there but clusters on almost every other block, felt a little uncomfortable being 2 females walking alone. If I ever visit Atlanta again would definitely rent a car and would probably stay at the Marriott or Hyatt.

I spent six nights at the hotel in March for a conference. The rate was good, room very clean, bathroom on the small side with hot water difficult to adjust. I never managed to adjust the water temperature for a hot shower but as the weather was mild this was not a major issue. The buffet breakfast was varied and well presented and not too expensive. (From memory about $20 for the continental option)
The hotel is within walking distance of attractions such as the Aquarium, CNN, Coca Cola World and the Peachtree Centre with a variety of food outlets. There did not appear to be much retail shopping nearby and the taxi fare to Lenox Mall at Buckhead was almost $30.
Overall a very comfortable stay.

Room Tip: GoodvViews from the higher floors.

Hotel was clean and rooms up to date, location was within walking distance of downtown attractions and MARTA trains. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I especially appreciated that they checked me in at 11AM though check-in time was 3 PM.

Only downside was that room walls were thin. In the evening I could hear one neighbour's kids and TV and the otehr neighbour's abandoned dog. But I had no problem sleeping at night.

Three nights at the Hilton Atlanta attending a conference at the Hyatt two blocks away. It was Easter weekend and the hotel was relatively empty. Booked AAA rate king for $80 a night and was upgraded to the exec level because of HH gold status.
Very comfortable bed, good size rooms, cleverly clean.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Everything you'd expect from a Hilton.

We stayed for two nights, The room was OK, but a bit date. The bathroom was fine, but the water pressure in the shower was a bit low and it took some time to get the water hot enough.
The room was clean and had a nice view as we were on the 14th floor. The location is good - it's walking distance to "The world of Coca Cola" and the Aquarium.

I do however think that WIFI should be complimentary in an hotel i 2012 - having to pay pr computer when all the family these days bring a personal PC seems like robbery. The parking is quite pricy as well with $ 21 a night.

The gym is superb - clean, big and very well equipped.

My wife and I attended an event at the Georgia Aquarium and stayed at the Downtown Hilton. We were very pleased. The location is close enough to walk to the Aquarium (about 7 blocks) though we took a cab ($12 - lots of traffic). It is a typical big Hilton property with all the amenities including resaturants, health club, basketball court and track, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was spacious and very pleasant though not especially interesting or exciting. One of the best things about the room was our view. From the 25th floor (room 2518) we had an outstanding view of the city with Buckhead in the background, it was very impressive. We booked through the Hilton website and found a very reasonable price that included parking. I would stay there again. One caveat...we slept well but were a bit surprised that we could still heare traffic on the downtown connector even on the 25th floor.

Room Tip: 2518 has a great view though you can still hear a bit of traffic noise.
