Clean rooms, with a convenient walk to the Atlanta Market Center. This January had very cold weather, and so I tunelled through to the Hyatt, then through the Hyatt and part of the Peachtree Center shopping mall and then out & across the street - so handy! But this is also an easy walk outside. Be advised, if going to the Market Center from the Hilton by way of outside streets, you will walk up a small hill. (Good to know if you have knee issues). The buffet breakfast is fantastic - lots of choices - eggs, smoothies, meats, cereals and fresh fruit and breads. The price for the breakfast was separate from the room charge. So pleased with the hotel, that I have already booked for my next trip in July.

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Convention attendees often mention that our skybridge connection is a nice plus to their stay here. We look forward to welcoming you back in July.

The hotel experience at Hilton was what I've come to expect from this wonderful company. First rate service and courteous attention. The hotel itself is showing a little wear and tear but the food at the lobby restaurant is very good. Executive access rooms are spacious with easy access to the lounge which is amply stocked for breakfast and light dinner snacks. A welcome location in a very busy downtown area. It is notable that there aren't many places to walk nearby for groceries or a quick bite to eat so utilize the courteous taxi services as downtown after dark can be a little less safe for strolling.

Room Tip: All rooms in this facility are a good choice. The elevators can be a little slow when busy which is...

The staff at this property is second to none!!! Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of the whole experience as I had to cancel my reservation last minute. However, I have to say my encounters via phone with Shahidah, Quinton, and Bernica was really refreshing. Shahidah was very knowledgeable and efficient. Quinton had a smile in his voice and Bernica was kind and accommodating. This stay was not intended for pleasure purposes. The conditions in which I had to make these reservations would make anyone cringe. I was desperate and panicky! These 3 clerks were very reassuring and helpful. In my time of need, I can not express how much that means. I too work in the service industry and I must say Hilton Atlanta has 3 diamonds in the rough!

Keep doing what you're doing!!! and thank you...

Book this hotel for a 12 day stay for project we were doing in town so got to see both the good and bad parts of the hotel.

Pro
Executive floors- Continental Breakfast and Afternoon tea snacks
Turn down service
Good clean spacious rooms
Good Friendly helpful staff.
Close to transit

Con
Hotel Caters to conventions. So elevators can become very congested on occasion with all the people there.

Not a lot to choose from in terms of eating choices. Trader Vic is closed on Mondays which we did not know and went there and the doors were closed.

Car traffic can make it nearly impossible to enter during rush hour
Selection of restaurants although passable feels still limited in terms of walking distance. We pretty much covered the restaurant hotel as well as the a joining Marriot and Hyatt hotels with our meals.

During check out computers were down but they promise to email me the statements which they did. I had talked to them over the phone over extending stays and additional reservations. They were polite, professional and friendly.

The rooms are nothing special, but they are clean and well appointed. This downtown location is perfect if you have business downtown or at the Capital Building. The staff was extremely friendly from the first contact with the valet, to the front desk manager, to the servers in the lobby bar. The $160 rate for a weekday stay is tyipcal, as is the $28 for valet parking. All in all it is hard to get a decent place to stay in downtown Atlanta for less than $200, so not a big deal. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: If you are HHonors member VIP status, be sure to request the executive level (27th floor). If you l...

We stayed at the Hilton on the night of our wedding - we actually had our reception at Nikolai's Roof. We had such an amazing time. The staff is wonderful and went above and beyond for us. Our room was beautiful and we look forward to staying at this hotel some time in the near future. Perhaps to celebrate our anniversary:) Great place to stay, wonderful place to have an event. I will admit, this might not be the best place for the budget-conscious, but it's worth every penny:)

Went for a romantic weekend with my hubby and stayed at the Hilton Atlanta. Good downtown location but the parking costs $21 or $28 to valet. I would recommend valet though because the parking garage only has six foot ceilings and feels very claustrophobic when parking. It was so bad that once we checked in we decided to just eat dinner at the hotel so we wouldn't have to park again. There was not much of a view from our room. Also, we were very frustrated by the lack of vending machines. Our floor had a machine that was broken and we went to probably five other floors and even though there was signs for vending the were no machines. Luckily there is a 24 hour store in the hotel but a vending machine would have been more convenient. I wouldnt stay here again unless I got a great rate on Priceline.
