I have seen three plays at Shakespeare Tavern. It is a wonderful experience with all of the employees (souvenir shop, ticket takers, etc) in full costume and character. When you go in, you will select a table at which to dine while watching the play. The food is typical English fare, and except for Gordon Ramsey, the Brits are not known for their exceptional culinary skills. That's the only reason I didn't give this 5 stars. Tip: if you are not familliar with the Shakespeare play you are going to see, find a synopsis online to read ahead of time. The actors/actresses are very good, but between the British accents and the somewhat unfamiliar Shakespearean syntax, it can be a tad difficult to follow the dialogue. But go and have fun - there's not much else out there in Atlanta that will give you this kind of experience!
