We are spoiled when we travel. We like nice hotels, but hate to pay a small fortune for a room and a bed. The Conference Center is a bit out of the way, but it's also close to East Atlanta and Decatur where we've kinda gravitated to over the past 2 years. Close to Buckhead too, without he price tag.

Nice big rooms and soft beds. Huge shower. Frank Lloyd Wright inspired design. Quiet. And if you have a crowd you can rent the private bowling alley! You can go, but don't tell anyone else so there'll be room for me when I want to go back.

Room Tip: Some corner rooms have a small balcony.

Thank your for all the wonderful comments. We are indeed delighted we were able to host your recent stay. Our location is the perfect one in our opinion as its so close to city center as well as the 'BUCKHEAD" district of Atlanta. We will share all your comments with our entire team and look forward to being your host again in the future.

The lady at the desk when we checked in in the middle of the night was so sweet and welcoming. We checked in at 2:00 a.m., and I was concerned about getting enough sleep to drive the next day, so I asked for a late checkout. The lady at the desk explained that noon is the checkout (which is the late checkout at most hotels), but that she would be glad to give us a 2:00 p.m. checkout. I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. We had driven in from D.C. and were driving straight through to New Orleans.

My only regret is that we had a short overnight stay and did not get to enjoy all that you have to offer. The grounds are beautiful, and the lobby feels like a mountain resort.

This hotel is safe and beautiful. I hope to find a reason to return to Atlanta so that I can stay again.

This is a beautiful spot in Atlanta. I traveled here for a conference at Emory and the CDC, and this hotel was such an oasis. We enjoyed the restaurant and the bowling alley. I only wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the grounds!

We stayed for two nights (Fri and Sat) for my wife's birthday. Hotels inside the perimeter of Atlanta tend to be expensive. We enjoyed rates here at less than $95/nt.

The room was huge, truly huge. It was well-appointed with one of the most comfortable beds on which we have slept.

The staff is professional and efficient.

We stayed here one night for an Emory University tour. Everything was perfect, convenient, clean and nice. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, from front desk, to concierge to bar and restaurant. They have a very nice breakfast buffet downstairs, too. Room was clean, king-sized bed super comfortable. Stayed here 2 years ago, and the experience was the same.

This hotel was quiet because we arrived after 8 pm. We parked our rental car below and there was no charge for parking, although it looks like they are putting in some kind of ticket system soon. The garage lobby and elevators seemed old and I was concerned. But, once you arrived at the main lobby it was fine. We had a late dinner in the restaurant and it was surprisingly really good. The sweet potato fries were one of the best I've had...although we were starving. Our room was clean, but 4/5 for feeling a little old and just basic. The room felt dark and very average. Friendly staff and no complaints overall.

Very spacious public areas. My room was adequate size, however the lighting in the room was very poor, regardless of the 4 lamps in the room. The phone did not work, as it only would receive outside calls, but I could not make any call, even to the hotel operator. The hall phone by the elevator also did not work; when I dialed "O", I was connected to a hospital scheduling recording! The bathtub hot water knob (clear plastic) was filthy and needs to be taken apart to be cleaned. The fitness center was good, but it could use another exercise mat or two. The pluses: all of the staff were friendly and courteous, free brewed coffee in the lower lobby, and bicycles fir guest use (gratis), walking distance to CDC, new Emory Point (small newly opened urban mall with lots of places to eat and women's clothing store) and Emory Univ.
