Owner description: This stunning, porcelain-enameled building was designed by famed architect Richard Meier and is rivaled only by the art inside. Featuring American, European and African art, as well as decorative art and photography, the High Museum boasts a permanent collection of over 11,000 pieces, many of which can be viewed from different levels of the four-story, glass atrium.

Superb exhibit of the traveling art works from the Maurtishuis museum, The Hague, Netherlands. The High Museum has done an excellent job of displaying the best from Holland. Five Rembrandts and of course the highly billed and not to disappoint, Vermeer's, The Girl with the Pearl Earring. Well displayed. Allow enough time to visit the rest of the permanent exhibits as well. Well worth a trip to Atlanta if you can't get to Holland!

Had a very pleasant visit to the High Museum of art in Atlanta. Since we had a limited amount of time for our visit, we stuck to the American section, which had a nice collection of early American furniture and paintings. The museum has a very unique design and is readily accessible for those in a wheelchair or with a walker. We had a very enjoyable visit and can highly recommend the High Museum of Art.

I loved the current exhibit at the High Museum, which included so many paintings by Dutch artists. The highlight of the exhibit is "The Girl With The Pearl Earring", but everything shown is first class and beautifully arranged.

Made the trip just to see the Rembrandt and famous Vermeer: the Girl with the Golden Earring. The museum is beautiful and exhibit was great.

Excellent visit. Please note that the museum is closed on Mondays. We almost missed out on the visiting exhibit because I didn't catch that change. But, we did happen to have another opportunity.

Dutch works were one of the rotating exhibits, I really enjoyed them. We didnt quite see everything in the museum, but the variety was excellent.

The cafe/snack bar was pretty poor. The sandwich was stale and the tables too small for the size of the sandwich packaging.
