“Excellent service, mediocre food”
Reviewed October 19, 2013

The restaurant was the site for our group of over 45 conference attendees with pre set menu. The setting is unique. The planes landing on the runway right out the window can be startling the first time and exciting after that. With a group this large, it was such a pleasurable surprise to get such efficient and ever smiling service by two of their finest. The food was just average (my friends did love the beef) , but the portions were large. The coffee was forgettable.

“57th Dinner and Brunch”
Reviewed October 18, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We had dinner there on a deal special. However they had sold out of the special and offered $40 off of our meal. In the end, the bill was still 80+ dollars with tip. Very decent buffet but steep.

The brunch we had there was awesome and I knew going in what the price would be. However it was a great deal when it came to the libations. Bloody Mary's for us was totally worth it.

“The 57th is good for lunch too.”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

I have been to the 57th several times and have always enjooyed it, expecially the buffets! They honor our veterans and have a signature wall for Vets to sign in. Good foood, good atmosphere and reasonably priced.

“Good Dinner But Not Memorable”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening, September 14, 2013. Although I made reservations for four, a reservation was not needed because the restaurant wasn't even half full.

The meals were overall pretty good. Everything is A La Carte so keep that in mind when you order. Expect to pay $3.50 to $4.00 per side; however, they are of sufficient sharing size. My son and I ordered the same steaks cooked the same way and his was great but mine was really dry and a little tough. My wife was happy with her meal. My son's girlfriend ordered a Cesar salad and it was bone dry so she had to ask for dressing. We ordered a Ceviche appetizer but it was just barely so-so. One of our sides (new potatoes) was not cooked thoroughly and the waiter promptly took it off the check.

If you have an interest in aviation then this place is for you. It sits at the end of the Peachtree DeKalb Airport runway and patrons can watch planes take off and land. If you get a booth away from the window you can put headphones on and hear the tower radio traffic. It is too bad they don't have the headphone options at all tables.
