What ever you like to do....

With its more than 180 acres of open space Piedmont Park gives you lots of opportunities to enjoy your time:
there are trails for joggers, skateboards or bicycle riders, huge areas of lawn inviting families and groups to play games or to enjoy a picnic, a pool, a lake, dog parks and playgrounds, sun sheltered areas with beautiful native trees and shrubbs as well as some "hidden" spots where you sit on a bench and enjoy the stillness of the moment.
A stroll through Piedmont Park is a must when visiting Atlanta I guess. No entree fee, only a small amount for parking.

What a stunning park!

I highly recommend this park to anyone visiting. It is a sprawling yet immaculately groomed park that is lovely for all to visit. Do spend time here - it is worth a visit.

Summertime in the A

Piedmont Park is a great place to do anything outdoors: run, walk, bike, skate, play frisbee, read, & people watch. A beautiful destination to get out and into nature right in the heart of Atlanta.

Nice Nieghborhood

I walked up from my temp office location. Lots of restaurants including The Flying Biscuit which had a great lunch

Afternoon walk

We stayed in a nearby hotel and were able to spend a little time walking around the park. It was hot but did have shade!
