Love the park. Great anytime of the year. Great when the festivals and food trucks are around. But good for taking yiown picnic too. Husband proposed to me there. Holds a special place in my heart.

This is a central park equivalent in Atlanta. They could improve by adding more monuments, but the track, expansive open space, and public benches and swings make it worth it. They just installed a pool a couple years ago and that was the icing on the cake
Beautiful park with wide open fields where you can find people doing yoga, playing soccer, or just lounging. Botanical gardens and two dog parks (one for big dogs, one for small) are also located in the park. Often the site of festivals for music, art, or even ice cream.
the greatest public park in Atlanta Georgia, it is open to the public, if you love to be with the crowd, then, Saturday, and Sunday will be the best time to visit, you will enjoy yourself, bring a throw blanket, and soak up the sun, walk you dog, or interact with other people.
Took the time to walk by… just perfect, quiet place lots of places just to sit and chill. Did the walk by the lake, sat down to watch the goose and the squirrels. You can see people just walking, jogging, walking their dogs, peeps doing yoga under a tree, Etc. there is a parking lot inside the park, first 30 mins are free, then it's a $2 increment every half an hour or so. Very safe.
What's not to love about Piedmont Park. I've enjoyed special events, the seasonal Farmer's Market, and my Saturday morning power walks. Its always peaceful and well kept. Lace up your sneaks and explore!
