This is a lovely park and such a wonderful escape in Midtown Atlanta. If you have the time, take a stroll.

“FUN PARK for all”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

I have been to several weddings at the park and it is a great place to share friendship and family. The area around the lake is great for strolling and peaceful contemplating. The roadways are great for running with or without your dog. THe open green space great for ball playing or Frisbee.

Park Tavern is only a jog away, as is the Botanical Gardens.

Parking is the only problem if you go on a Saturday or Sunday...

“Lovely place for family activity”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Walk your dog, socialise your dog, play some softball or to have a picnic; the park provides for everything. What makes it really great is that admission is free!

“Always lots of fun in this park”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

2 large dog parks, loads of walking, running, biking trails that are wide, flat and accessible. Public pool, tennis courts, playground, children's garden - what's not to love?

“Great for events or just to relax”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Having a place to go that provides an outdoorsy feel, while still staying within the perimeter is great. Piedmont park is great for walking your dog, people watching, playing ultimate frisbee, or just sitting by a tree and reading. The events hosted here are splendid as well. While some of those living in Midtown might complain of the noise pollution, etc...events like Music Midtown in Piedmont Park are great for giving Atlanta a nice tourism boost and unique aspect. The park is free to visit - events obviously cost money, but most are well worth it.
